Who knows. I bet no one predicted that Kyrie would come to Boston. But if we ever manage to trade Kyrie+Smart+picks in a S&T for Bron the team will be amazing.

Lebron would F up the chemistry of this team. He's an Alpha that needs to have everything HIS way. Stevens is the Alpha and he's a big reason why guys play so well. Lebron would have to defer to him and play in his system, and I'm not sure a 34 year old who has has that much success would be okay with doing that. If Lebron was 23, and kept losing , then you would have a shot.

This squad has a chance to be really, really good next season. We were one game away from the finals with out Irving and Hayward. I think if they are on the floor, we could have had a really good chance of winning it all this year. I can see Hayward coming back an even better shooter than he was, and Irving seeing how to move the ball better and trusting his teammates. And Brown and Tatum have a chance to be scary good next season.

I also don't know if I can watch 82+ games of Lebron getting a bump and going down like some one racked him in the face with a baseball bat.

LeBron also never had a coach of Stevens' caliber, and when he had one that was close in Spo he wasn't all that bad.

If Danny ever floated Kyrie in trade rumors- one thing is certain, Kyrie is a goner cause he wont be signing with us as free agent- Kyrie being traded back to team he begged to leave would be beyond cruel for him and would shine a horrible light on Danny and our organization-Not that it would stop him/

Yes, Lebron on this team would be insane- Dont get me wrong about that but you are kidding yourself if you believe Cavs org would not start with min of Brown/Tatum plus Kyrie- Their org would be crucified for a Kyrie Lebron swap to their most hated enemy-us- Unless Danny is ready to give away one of our two young one’s, forget about it! Cavs  hang up phone-

When LeBron wins a title with a franchise, nobody really thinks about the role of the franchise or the team in that title. It's all about LeBron.

I don't know, call me crazy, but I want to see the Celtics win a title with a team constructed via draft and trade primarily.

I don't want it to seem to others, or feel to me, like LeBron chose to win a title wearing the Celtics uniform as opposed to some other one. I think it would feel like watching LeBron win a title instead of watching the Celts win a title.

I'm not advocating we bring Lebron in, but I was just thinking about the potential lineup and roster if they did a S&T involving Smart, Morris, Yabusele, 2 future picks for him...

PG: Kyrie/Rozier/Larkin
SG: Jaylen/J. Bird(?)
SF: Lebron/Tatum/Ojeyele
PF: Hayward/Theis
C: Horford/Baynes

Might need to find some way to bring in another backup SG, and I'm assuming we'd bring back Baynes with MLE and Larkin with the minimum. But that team is unstoppable. I'm even willing to say we beat Golden State in 5 with that team (assuming we're healthy of course).

Another ? mark would be, would Lebron fit in to the whole "team basketball" mantra the C's preach and make a few sacrifices along the way. If so, that's a fantastic team. If not (he stays extremely ball dominant), then we could still win but also have many hiccups along the way.

Do you think Clevelanders feel that way? Or do they view it as a title for their city?

I think Cleveland is different because he's from there, drafted by them, and they don't have the same history.

But still, I would say that the 2016 title feels more to me like LeBron's title than the Cavs title.
