I guess I'm about a 6.5 or 7. I want to see what you think

Jeff Green did get some superstar calls so that was infuriating. And we all know we hate seeing LeBron whining for every calls at the refs. I'd say 6.5.

But I was more infuriated at the Celtics' lack of effort and energy. And how they just folded.

My major complaint is just like in game 6 they basically handed a green light to the Cavs. The Cavs would take it to the hole and draw a foul and then the Celts would do the same thing and not get the call.
That's why there were all those hands in the air all night and the looks of exasperation.

If I were a Cavs fan though I'd be having none of it. I'd say "We went into your house without K Love and with Ty Lue as our coach and won by a handful. Where were the refs on all those shots you missed? Where were the refs when Tatum taunted Bron? Where were the refs when Morris threw Thompson to the ground. You're cry babies."

So I don't think I want to cry about this

I’d say about a 6. There were some infuriating moments. I felt Horford got fouled more than what was called. I thought Cleveland got a few more calls than us but not by much. I really hate how Tatum plays like an all star but gets very little respect from the refs.

My only real complaint is that they gave Jeff Green more favorable calls than Tatum. Not much to complain about otherwise (except superstar calls for Lebron, but those are a given)
I'm bitter.

Truthfully, the officiating didn't really bother me at all.  I always expect a bad call or two in a game.

What bothered me more is the Celtics inability to run the offense in the 2nd quarter...  I think I've come to associate this with Marcus Morris coming into the game.  I feel like he makes very little effort to make plays for others and settles for midrange jumpshots far too often.

The biggest part that bothered me was the early drives to hoop- we did not seem to get calls and they did- It shifted us from paint to longer shots and changed direction of game. Obviously if we had simply hit a few more of those bombs, we would be preparing for finals.

Lebron was allowed to travel and commit offensive fouls.

Just another day in the NBA.

Bad but whatever..the Celtics choked.  The Cavs were begging to get blown out and go home for the summer but the Celtics were too busy bricking three and layups.

Bad enough for Rozier to miss 10 threes and bad enough to even whistle for every Jaylen Brown miss bwcause he drove too many times to the rack...like yeah so many I counted 3.

6-7.

I truly hate Marc Davis (as an official).  He's awful and has long been so.  Made a bunch of key calls in favor of LeBron, and some others (calls and non-calls) through the course of the game.

Tatum had 0 fouls going into the 2nd half.  He managed to pick up 5 fouls in 2 quarters, many of which were some very questionable calls (mostly against LeBron, surprise surprise).  Otherwise I don't have major complaints against the other two officials.

Regardless we weren't going to win that game the way we shot the ball.

It's not that the overall officiating was bad but there were some key fouls that were pretty bad which either did or could have swung momentum. The supposed block by Lebron on Rozier was a foul. He blocked his arm - I never knew that blocking an arm is part of the ball. That would have been huge at the time. There was an offensive call on Tatum that was bad and the in the vicinity calls for Lebron were bad. Otherwise I thought it wasn't terrible. I rated a 6.

I thought it was fairly reasonably called.  Nothing super egregious either way stands out to me either.

Boston did not lose this game because of the officials.
