Why do people keep talking about "the 4".  BS has 3 positions in his team.  Ball handler, wing and big.  I'm 99% sure he envisions brown, tatum and hayward all being wings and being interchangeable.  BS doesn't strike me as a "i need a banger PF" guy.
Forget "the 4" but you still need size and rebounding and physical toughness.

Based on what?

This league right now is about speed, flexibility, switchability and long range shooting.

Durant couldn't bench press  a single rep at the combine

Because it doesn't matter what Brad has, it matters what the other team does. And the simple fact is that one of your "wings" will have to guard the second biggest guy on the other team.

Based on the fact that Cleveland only needed to start their quite limited banger to send you into complete tailspin.

This is smart of Ainge though. With all the praise that Tatum is getting, its very easy for anyone to receive the praise, rest on laurels, just go on vacation and not improve your game

Tatum had a better series than any other Celtic. Where are Danny's tweets about Rozier, Brown, and Smart—you know, the young guys who stunk when it mattered most?

I think they meant Durant is stronger now than Durant was at 20.

He just needs to put in work on his game and strength. He'll be fine. He won't be taking off the whole summer. Training camp is in 3 months. One can only improve so much in such a short period of time. For a 20 years old though he can get some things accomplished. Look at how much Jaylen improved from year 1. I think Tatum puts on about 10 pounds. He'll need it to finish better at the rim.

If this is indeed about Durant now vs. Durant at 20, Durant has put on 25 pounds since entering the league. That's a substantial amount of size for a guy with his frame and agility.

Unrelated, but the concept that Tatum needs to get bigger and stronger is not about turning him into a LeBron type, but maximizing his body's potential to maintain his quickness and explosiveness while being ultimately stronger. Durant is a great example, same with Giannas and Kevin Garnett.

Look at Durant

You can tell a lot regarding adding weight by a player's shoulders. Jayson's frame looks like he can take a bit more weight.

Durant, today, is way stronger than Durant wast at 20 years old when he couldnt bench press a single rep.

Look at Durant
Durant is sneakily strong now. You can see this in his defensive versatility now, where his defence used to be a flaw.

Plus, Tatum looks like he has a frame to put on more muscle

You can't put too much muscle on all at once, it will significant affect your agility and increase your lower body burden which leads to injury.

I hope Tatum don't weight train like Brown, just do regular NBA weight and keep on refine his skills, he should slowly add mass through out his first few years.
