I'm bummed out, but this isn't so bad.

It will be cathartic watching whoever comes out of the West destroy Lebron. I'm intrigued to see what Ainge does with Rozier, Baynes and Smart this offseason. I don't anticipate a big move.

As much of a "what could have been" last night was on so many levels, I'm so optimistic about this team moving forward.

A deep breath, nice long walk, and maybe even yoga. Don't worry- you'll get through this.
The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing.

Nothing can make up for it. This was a golden opportunity, gift-wrapped by the Cavs themselves with their horrid first half, but Boston said, "No thanks."

What'll happen this summer? Don't know, don't care.

Sigh. Same - TP :-\.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
I'm bummed out, but this isn't so bad.

As much of a "what could have been" last night was on so many levels, I'm so optimistic about this team moving forward.

My feelings, too, except I am not 100% sure how I want the Finals to play out. If CLE gets crushed, then Lebron will likely move on to form another super-team and the GSW players will all continue to take discounts.

However, if the Cavs can somehow win the championship, perhaps he will feel he can make things work in CLE. Also, guys like Thompson, Green, and Durant might start demanding actual max dollars since taking a discount would no longer guarantee a championship.

Of course if the latter happened, I couldn't watch sports tv for weeks with all the sycophants rejoicing Lebron, but it might actually be more advantageous for the Cs future.

I’m already over it.

It helps to know that we already have almost everything we need.  Come back healthy and let’s make a run at 18 next year.

I’m not stressing the loss.

Horford / Tatum / Hayward / Brown / Kyrie is a dream lineup.
Until someone starts Tristan Thompson.

Exactly. Or any other player who can actually rebound well.

Or until one of those five players above suffers a major injury, because that's just how it goes with this squad. Meanwhile, LeBron will continue to not slow down or get hurt, and the Warriors will continue to take team-friendly deals and not get hurt.
There are two kinds of people: those who say to God, 'Thy will be done,' and those to whom God says, 'All right, then, have it your way.'
