Except for Tatum, youth caught up with the Celtics last night. Rozier and Brown hit a wall, and almost two handedly cost the Celtics the win they should have had. They had to shoot about 20% to make it happen. And then Smart shot 10%, but he's their D guy, and shouldn't be shooting. Stevens take note.

It really had nothing to do with Lebron. 35 pts wasn't enough for the Cavs to win. They had to have the kind of rare offensive collapse of the Celtics at home to win this game. Especially with Love out. It was embarrassing, even for a young team--because they showed they could win this series, and they didn't.

The other factor is the over reliance on the 3P shot, which is Stevens' game. Too many guys taking 3s that shouldn't be. You live by the 3, you'll die by the 3. There are hot nights and cold nights. Just hope the cold nights are not with the season on the line.

That is why i thought our young guys had enough seasoning-Jasum had Hoops House, combine and tryouts summer league ,training camp, pre season,a London Trip,Rising Stars played all but one game for the seasons then the playoffs.
Jaylen suffered a concussion and now played through a hamstring.
I'm just glad we got through the playoffs in one piece
Remember Jabari Parker,Nerlen N,Aron Gordon,Marcus Smart,Julius Randle,Exum,Lavine.
These kids can only push so much.
All we needed was Theis not hurt and Larkin for a true point guard at times.

Rozier and Brown also almost two handedly WON us game 6 on the road.  Only two guys that really brought it in game 6.  Tatum (until late) and horford were poor.

Work on P n R offense and finishing at the rim for Rozier.

Ditto for Brown but I think he needs to work on some post/midrange moves to be able to create offense when he can't hit his 3. Free throw shooting needs to improve as well. Probably goes hand in hand with his aggressiveness on offense. People are overreacting to the last thing they saw. Brown was probably the best overall player for Cs these playoffs.

Brown has a lot to work on.

As for Rozier, this is probably the last ECF game he plays for Celtics in clutch situations.
Next year he’ll be sitting on the bench cheer for Kyrie Irving. So he should spend the summer thinking about whether he wants to be a starter in a bad team or sixth man of future championship dynasty.

Rozier will be traded.. Its time to open the page of what we have in Jabari Bird.

As for Brown.. Well first of all he needs to to get out of the Jeff Green clone tag... Which ironically outplayed him last night.. Uncle Jeff played like Jaylen Brown.

Brown has beenso dissapointing but at the same time lovable... Typical Jeff Green huh.

To get out of that tag he must be a consistent 80 to 85% FT shooter.
Be a consistent offensive performer.. His most putrid offensive night should be no lower than 14 points.. The comparison to Jeff Green is warranted for now because he follows up his 28 point night with a performance like last night.. 3 of 10 will not cut it.. He is a third overall pick and should have that mentality.

yeah rozier is a waste of time. his BBIQ is rock bottom. i still have faith in brown. rozier needs to hit the highway in a package deal to improve us. we need SMART players in crunch time. the crap i witnessed last night was unforgivable. get another player coming off becnh that can light it up and make sure we get to finals next year.
LET'S GO CELTICS!

.....shooting threes.

They shot 40% and 38% for the year. What are you talking about?

Rozier and Brown were 0-14 shooting threes last night.

That one probably needs a sports psychologist as much as it does reps.

That’s clearly an exception, not the rule. And they were 3-22

I’d say for Brown physically work on getting a stronger base, and work on some post moves.  He should post up more with his size as a 2 guard.

With Rozier work on creating more in traffic for himself and others.  I think partly why he has such a low turnover rate is he can play too conservative at times.  I think by being a little more crafty driving to the hoop will help his game.
