...and that includes Stevens. Pathetic that no one wanted to get Tatum the ball. To continue jacking all those 3s is inexcusable.

No one knows what will happen next year. No championship is guaranteed. I feel bad for Tatum. He deserved more opportunities. I would've went down with him taking 30 FGAs.

We weren’t winning the title this year either.  Bummer to miss a finals appearance but warriors are winning tonight by 30 again and will beat the Cavs in 4 or 5.

It made no sense to see Rozier/Brown jacking up shots when they were not hitting.  Meanwhile Tatum, our best outside shooter, was not getting enough shots.  Oh well, learning experience for the coach too, IMO.

Steven's literally sat on his hands coaching that team last night. He did nothing and that's what so frustrating.

Everyone is crowning this team next year and I want to see how the minutes and shots are distributed.

They 'rooked" Tatum? Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. are you talking about?

They panicked, took bad shots and rushed good ones. They should have been looking for Al more too as he was constantly searching for match-ups and they missed him completely when he had some. Tunnel-vision took over.

Yeah, I think Brad will have learned a lot, and has a lot to think about over the off-season.

He is only 41 after all. All the other good coaches in the league (Pop, Kerr, Snyder, Casey namely) are in their 50's and 60's. He's got a long time to learn

When is the last time you saw a team play so bad as to forget or not get a star player invved?  I can’t think of an instance and last night was not one of them.

Tatum has shown some great flashes but he’s not that guy people!  Not yet.  A star is able to get his points and shots under any circumstances.

It wasnt BS or anyone else.

Simply; Tatum doesnt know he already is - in that unit - our best offensive option.

I'm wondering if this was intentional. Keep a simple game plan and see who steps up. From the Ownership to the fans, we all know we aren't beating the Warriors, and would have a hard time against the Rockets.

I'm wondering if they were seeing how guys handled a big game. Problem with the team is they were over achieving, and it was fun and great to watch, but diversity is the best learning tool a young kid could have. Seeing how they handled the game, who stepped up, how they handle the loss, what they say after the game to reporters "ahem Smart".

Yeah I know this is tinfoil hat type thinking, but seeing Tatum step up, but Rozier,Smart,Morris,Horford,Brown not play so well is concerning going into next year, where we may still have to go through Lebron, and climb over a touch Warriors team.

I don't want to hear we had a great season. Last years team overachieved, this years team had a 2-0 lead and homecourt with the other teams 2nd best player out. The coach choked the game away by letting 3 guys take bad shot after bad shot.

He really did no coaching last night...plain and simple.

What was Brad supposed to do? He had 2 ride or die with what we had. Tatum's a rookie, he doesn't have the mentality to take 30 shots yet. It's not like he could call to the bullpen & put in Kyrie or GH. Those guys got us here being the players they are. If they don't have the capacity to change in the moment that's on them. The last thing you want is guys to be hesitant-----then you really have no chance. It sucks but Smart & Morris are who they are & Brown was terrible. Not only was Brown terrible he was stupid too. Bad shots bad decisions, I'm most disappointed in Brown-- just an epic no show. From a guy who was talking all series, just dumb basketball all around.

What was Brad suppose to do??? Seriously??

Run more plays for Tatum. Look at all those bricks and watch how it the ba is swung to Tatum hes just standing wide open How about emphasize getting the ball to someone who has a hot hand. How about emphasizing guys go to the basket if shots aren't falling. How about call a timeout and get in their ass about shooting brick after brick.

It keeps happening...it happened last year. He doesn't know when to reel guys in from bad shooting nights.

This. There is a lot to love about Brad but he's a horrible in game coach. And he was exposed in games 6 and 7.

Hard to run plays for Tatum when he gives the ball up or just doesn't get it when Roizer / Smart / Morris/ Brown go off on their own and jack up shots which they were doing all game long. Again players need to have on court awareness to get Tatum the ball. Everybody on the Cavs know it goes through Lebron--- the Celtics all tried to be hero's.

Brown and Rozier took almost exactly the quantity of shots you'd want them to take. They just missed them. Any stupidity was minor mistakes during split second decisions on drives. Brown was shooting over 40% from 3's and didn't take stupid shots. It was very disappointing that he missed them. He hasn't played afraid all year and didn't last night. He just missed a lot of shots.

I do have problems with Smart and Rozier not being mentally disciplined enough to know that with the season on the line, the best odds are with moving the ball early in the possession and getting the ball to Tatum and Horford down the stretch.

Smart in particular simply cannot be so stupid as to think that he should be shooting 3's and taking his man off the dribble in playoff crunch time. As amazing as he can be in certain moments, I think the team needs to move on from him.
