The more experience for the young guys the better-the blowout today just another experience..They need to be forged and tempered under playoff pressure.
These lessons do not come cheaply.
Now they fully comprehend home court advantage that you play for all season. The power of referees to effect games. And how teams can adjust their game plan.

Win or lose its the journey these young kids are being subjected to that will pay dividends for years .The Cavs adapted and changed their game plan and it worked

I mind a Game 7. I wouldn't want to face LeBron James in a Game 7.

The Celtics HAVE to close this out in Game 5.

No thanks to a 7 game series.

I'm fine as is. If the Celtics don't win another game (lose in 6), I'm totally fine with this year. We have a top 4 team in the NBA missing two all stars. That means that the Celtics are at least a top 3 team, and maybe even better than Houston. Jaylen, Jayson, and even Terry/Smart are getting a ton of valuable playoff experience.

As of now, I'd like to think that they win this series, but that would be frosting on the cake. I don't really care that much about losing in game 6/7 to the Cavs, or getting beat by GS in the finals. While I think the Celtics can beat CLE and HOU in a series, I have almost no faith that this current squad can beat a healthy GS team.

Never say never though. If Curry and Durant go down, GS is in a similar situation and the Celtics could steal a ring.
The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing.

Slaying Lebron a year early while being undermanned would be the end of the Cavs and oh so satisfying

I wouldn't mind the C's having a 7 game series either provided you're referring to the finals and not the conference finals.

pretty much my thinking also. if we win game 4 we must end it in 5 because i doubt we win game 6 and then game 7 anything can happen.

Wouldn't mind a 7-game series, with Game 7 vs. Lebron James...

Wow I commend you for your confidence! If the series goes 7 games, so be it, but I'm rooting and hoping for a relatively stress-free series win in 5 games  :P

My heart can't take a Game 7 against Lebron and possibly the refs too (Even if Game 7 is at TD Garden and our Game 7 record there is something like 20-4 I think)

no thanks. win this in 5 and the kids can get experience in the finals in 4 games against GS. so that way they will be ready next year for revenge,
