Those two wing three point shots right and left and his quick backdoor dunk-This kid is 21 just attempting to visualize his future ,i come up blank -it is unlike Jason that has a smooth deceptive athleticism and a sort of classical all around game.Paul Pierce ,Carmelo etc
For me Jaylen is an alien with his speed, strength and quick vertical. When have the Celtics had a player of this caliber -is he a cross of Len Bias and  Reggie Lewis..
He is getting better weekly as his game slows down and he has harnessed the speed -no longer those hasty drives to the hoop ending in hurried misses.

Then you see Kyrie,Hayward  and Theis-i flash to podium where Kyrie and Hayward understand something very special is going to happen when they play together. Then you have Kyrie say he only scratched the surface and i believe him.The best is yet to come.
Horford buffered by Baynes is playing better than ever at both ends. Both are now knocking down threes.
Then there is Theis, another rookie by name only ,new to NBA,to his teammates and in a foreign country-the ultimate 2nd team center with is huge length that makes him a shot blocker and European tenacity on the defensive end that allows him to guard 1-5.His timing and the nuances of NBA were just starting to come together-but it's there now .He belongs.

The mayhem and menace of our Marcus's with Rozier all fighting for what they got-the streets have been real for these guys. They are tough ,hard nosed  and will get their hands dirty.
Anything is possible for the Celtics.
And they have only scratched the surface

Kyrie Irving is a savant with a basketball as was Isaiah both came to the league and were impactful from the start.Kyrie was number one pick in the lottery Isaiah the last
Kyrie more so than Isaiah as  he  was Rookie of the Year  but Rozier struggled and had trouble getting upcourt against pressure and was totally lost in his rookie year and spent most of it in Maine.
Rozier has the physical tools as he matures to be one heck of a guard -burst ,speed ,strength and vertical  combined with 6-8 wingspan and toughness on defense.

But to trade Kyrie would be like trading a priceless basketball piece, a proven superstar in his prime. It isn't going to happen.
Rozier is playing high level basketball and the young guys have stepped up along with Horford for a team effort but please don't forget how special Kyrie is.
Rozier has been blessed to play under two great guards and has had the opportunity to learn not be stifilled
Boston is famous for its 6th man culture i hope Rozier and Smart choose to be part of a new era in Celtics history.

Truly a unique time in my 40-something years of rooting for this team.  Maybe only in the brief period between 86 championship and Lenny Bias's death have I felt such excitement over the present and the distant future at the same time.
Yup

why some people want to have less talent on this team is beyond me....Rozier is probably a starter in this league...but hes not a star and seems to only play well at home. We also have to take into account brads system.

this team is going to be stacked next year if we bring everyone back. 1-10 and can run rampant in the east.
