He was on Felger and Mazz an hour ago and stated this

He said, we will see who comes out ahead

you know what glad they didn't trade Tatum. I would take Jayson Tatum any day of the week than the Nets 2018 pick. Even if it turns out to be a top 3 pick

I like Ayton alot but imo Tatum is a better fit for the modern nba

Tatum > Bagley
Tatum > Doncic
Tatum > Porter Jr.

It was the right decision even if the Brooklyn pick produces a superstar (or doesn't).  Bird in the hand.  And obviously everything since that decision has looked pretty amazing.

Yeah, 100% the right call. Basically Jayson Tatum or a 90% chance of a Mikal/Miles Bridges type, and a 10% chance of nabbing a top 3 pick
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

Trade decision well done

It’s these decisions that put us 7 wins away from a banner right now

Even if Cleveland gets the #1 pick tonight, it was the right call.  We got perhaps the second best point guard in the league, entering his prime, and, Jayson Tatum.

Jury is still out whether BK pick was worth it for Kyrie.

So the Cavs get the #8 pick and the Sixers get the #10 pick.

I'm happy with that.

So we get the Kings pick next year as long as it's not the #1 overall pick.

That could be a tempting trade piece in the future!
