I can't decide which would make me happier, The #2 pick in the 2018 NBA draft or a win tonight against the Cavs. If we got both, I think I would have a conniption!

I honestly would take the victory tonight and as long as neither 76ers or Cavs get a high pick in the lottery a huge win and if the Brooklyn pick doesn't move up it may be the last nail in the coffin for not only LeBron leaving the Cavs but the Cavs as a relevant franchise for the next decade at least.

It's going to be a crazy lotto! There are so many ramifications!

Short term, winning Game 2. Long term, winning pick No. 2.

Heck, let's go for both!!!

Both would be ideal, but I'm all about that pick tbh. If we get that I'll be over the moon
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

The pick would equate to strongly contending for  multiple championships

But Let’s get both like last year

Think back to last year - I was trying to decide if we could only have one, would I rather a game 7 win against the Wizards or winning the lottery? In the end we got both!

The draft pick, they can lose and still win the series and no way they can beat GS this yr anyway. Another star on a rookie contract? Thats a long term win. If it were game 7 maybe the game would be close but game 2 ? no way

#2 pick. Long-term baby.

Even if the Celtics drop Game 2, they could still steal either Game 3 or 4. And if not, we know why they were outmatched against the greatest player in the world.

Chances of us winning game 2 is way better than the Cs  striking gold in the lottery... but hey, weirder things have happened.

Maybe we get both if the stars allign and the basketball gods reward us for the loss of Hayward for the season..

I'm more excited about tonight's game than the lottery.

Thanks for putting 'both' as it is the easy option and I am baffled why others didn't choose 'both', maybe they are not as greedy as me. If I had to pick pick one it would be a win in game 2 as that puts so much pressure on the Cavs and will create self doubt for them. I am happy with the squad for next season so a number 2 pick, while desirable, is not required.
