Don’t see why the Cavs need any changes . It was just a feel out game  ;D

Yeah the lebron apologists saying it was a 'feel-out' game is classic.  embarrassingly so.

Well at least Cleveland is trying something different.  It takes 1 more shooter off the floor from Cleveland.  But maybe they are hoping they can out rebound us and get a number of extra putback baskets or tip/ins.

Also Horford was just ABUSING Love in the post.  Maybe they will try to put Thompson in to neutralize Horford in the paint.

Watched the national mediots today, a lot of them, especially Shannon Sharpe are predicting the Cavs will win Game 2.  If the Celtics can just hold serve at home and win game 2, they can put a LOT of pressure on Cleveland.

This is the game you tell rozier to rebound everything. He's going to have to get up and get the boards! Just go rb crazy. Rb and assist should be his primary and secondary goals. Matter of fact, tell him that TT said he only rbs balls that are wide open and that he can't really rb like a man!😫😭
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Guys, you have a better NBA perspective I don't really watch anything but, Celtics games.

The Indiana Pacers got on the Cavs pretty darned hard. Series was 3-3 and Cavs won by 4 points to clinch at home. The Cavs wins were all 2 to 4 point margins.

Pacers aren't a top defensive team, but, are better than Cavs....my question is...What did the Pacers do to keep it so close?

They aren't really smaller...or younger...or way better defenders?

TP & Thanks to Oralndo for post...TT is a Celtics killah and Stevens has a plan....TT had a 34 minute game against Pacers and a 26 minute game against the Slapters, but, all the rest? Three DNP's and some end of bench stuff.

Having Baynes makes me feel so much better now. Like, Thompson may still get some of his boards and points, but I still feel confident in Baynes that he'll neutralize him to an extent.

WAY BETTER than last year when we threw out Amir, Zeller and Olynyk to handle TT. How embarrassing...  :(

I agree with what Stevens is suggesting to keep the focus on LeBron (meaning I think that Morris starts and stays on LeBron).  What I don't get is why so many people are suggesting that Brown take Love and not Tatum.  Don't most think that Tatum should be our starting PF next season?  I am not one of those but for this game/series, I just put Tatum on Love.  If they do pick and role with LeBron-Love, then just switch.  If they try to post up Love, fine, their offense will be out of sync as Love likes to stand in the corner, not post up.

You know Tatum is thin right?

Brown is stronger

Tatum can't guard PFs at this moment....unless it is someone like Ibaka who hardly make an impact close to the basket

Love is thin too.  I like Brown on Smith and Tatum (who is longer) on Love.  I am sticking with it.  Can't wait to see Tatum blow by Love and have a big night.  I don't see Tristan Thompson turning the series around.

I lean toward starting Baynes.

Morris is the best Lebron defender on the team but with all the switching it's not like he was doing it all by himself yesterday and he'll still get plenty of time.

Yes, and starting Baynes means that they can get the Baynes on LeBron switch all night. They already did that at will yesterday. It looks like a disaster in the making.

I say we keep the same lineup. We can put Al on Thompson or even maybe Tatum who is only 1 inch shorter.

Start the same players, be prepared to gang rebound. Force Thompson to cover a perimeter player. It will be a disaster for Cleveland
