Ouch!!
1 win and 15 losses against Lebron in the playoffs.
If you think the wins and loss record is bad, check out these stats.
Lebron ppg is 29.6 to Horford 10.9
Lebron Rpg 8.8 to Horford 4.3
Lebron Apg 7.6 to 2.9

I like Horford, but those numbers are not even "average"; as some people call him.  If he averages those numbers in this series, than the Celtics get swept.
1-19 is going to look really bad.  Worse than the baby dinasours.

It's not really fair to compare Al's stats to Lebron's. Al is a very good player, sometimes an all star, and he's not really a stat stuffer. Lebron is arguably the best player in the world right now, and he is among the best all time. This series does not hinge on Al matching up well with Lebron. To win this series the Celts need to defend the rest of the Cavs exceptionally well, defend Lebron one-on-one as much as possible, limit turnovers and offensive rebounds, and shoot well, at least at home. Al needs to defend well, facilitate on offense, and be efficient on offense, but he does not need to have monster stats. Lebron needs monster stats for the cavs to win.

Are there any guys in the Eastern Conference that do have good playoff records against Lebron?

He’s 26-0 against Eastern teams in playoff series the past nine seasons.

It is more of a Lebron led team versus a Horford led team.  A max player like Horford and leader of a team has to play better.

Ummm...

And how many times has the Raptors beaten the Cavs?

LeBron has dominated the East, let's be honest... You could literally put nothing but old age shooters like someone like Kyle Korver, Channing Frye, and even he cou-

Oh wait.

He did..

The point is that for how great LeBron has been, Horford has been the ultimate team leader. We're going to have to hope that we can slow LeBron down, force him into even tougher shots, and bear with his fadeaway jumpers. If he sinks it, then he sinks it, not much you can collectively do at that point.

Let's hope this time the tables are turned.

Also the ECF Hawks team was pretty good, but they weren't as great as LeBron/Kyrie Irving team with Love. It was clear as night and day from that viewers standpoint.

You can't think of it that way. Horford leads in ways that don't show up in the box score. But clearly he is no where near the Level of Lebron. No one questions that. If the Celts win this series it won't be because Horford out played Lebron. It will be because the Celts as a team, with Brad leading them, were better than the sum total of the Cavs. We all know that Lebron is the best player in this series. For the Celts to win they need Tatum, Brown, and Horford to be the second, third and fourth best players, and the other guys to play well. Lebron's just that good. If Love is the second or third best player in this series, it's hard to see how the Celts win.

Al Horford was playing with a bunch of Hawks scrubs for most of his career facing LeBron James.

Al Horford was also playing with a bunch of Celtics scrubs without IT4 facing LeBron James.

Unfair comparison.

Al Horford is a fantastic player, but if he is your best player you're not going to beat a team led by LeBron.

But that doesn't mean much. You have to pay your 2nd or 3rd best players max money too, otherwise you won't be able to sign them. Look around the league, most playoff teams have multiple players making max money (including the Celtics who have three such players). And many of them have players far lesser impactful than Horford making max money.

2-15.

Or, past performance isn’t necessarily indicative of future performance.

Congrats Big Al!

2-4 as a member of Boston, and 0-11 as a member of Atlanta vs. LBJ in playoffs.

If Al can perform this way for the next 3 games, then we sweep.  That was a fantastic performance.  Only 4 boards because we have other good rebounders.

He’s 26-0 against Eastern teams in playoff series the past nine seasons.
Rondo was 12-13 with a 2-2 series record.

Which is pretty good. Don't think any individual player has more wins. It's definitely the best in the East.

I think Iguodala is 12-11 with a 3-2 series advantage but most of his wins come from the West.

The whole Spurs core has 11 wins and like an 11-5ish record.

Tho Pierce and KG have 13 wins and a 13-17 record and a 2-3 series deficit. That might be the most wins vs Lebron of anyone.

No team other than Boston(14-21) has more than 11 wins against the Lebrons. The only other East team with more than 6 is the Pacers(10-20) who have a 0-5 series record.
