Brad seems to allow Baynes to shoot open 3s. Are you ok with it?

If he keeps shooting them this well then for sure. It adds another weapon to our offence, and will force ring protecting bigs to pay attention to him.

His form is good and he’s been a good mid-range shooter for a while, so I have no issue with it. I don’t want him to actively seek it out though

He flips them up there... its crazy hes been hitting them (over 30% right?)    I have not checked.   But they all have looked decent.   LOL    I guess he is considered a stretch 5 now?   Really spreads the floor and pulls Embiid out.....  WILD

I don't mind the corner three.  I don't like the shots further up the arc at all.

To the extent that it pulls Embid away from the basket, yes.

Don't like the shots, but if it meets 3 criteria:

1) it's a corner 3
2) Baynes is wide open when shooting
3) Embiid is in the game

then I don't mind it so much.  Otherwise it's a bad shot.

Every time he takes it I say "oh no." followed hopefully by "yes!"

8 of 17 in the playoffs, it's crazy. He's our best shooter ;)

Honestly, yes.

My friend and I went to Game 1 vs. Philly, and we were amazed that all Baynes does at halftime is shoot threes around the arc. He was draining them. (I think he hit three in a row at each spot from the corner, the elbow, and the top of the arc before he missed his first one.)

He's at 28.9% from 3 if you include playoffs.

Absolutely, and why not?  Small sample size, sure, but clearly he’s worked on it.  And it opens up another weapon for other teams to defend, so overall it’s great.  Good for Baynes and good for the Celtics.
