Most 20+ pt playoff games as a Celtics rookie

Bird: 4
Tatum: 5

He's rewriting Celtic history. Have a feeling Tatums number will continue to increase

Kid is POISED.

Free throws were disappointing but he had a very clutch jumper right in Simmons’ face and has truly been amazing not only in the playoffs, but his entire pro career.

Yes, however let's not forget that Kyrie and Hayward going down is the reason that was possible. He had no choice but to score because he didn't have many others to do it. Bird had tiny and Maxwell and Cowens... That being said, Bird was also 23 which gave him that advantage. Let's not put too much pressure on the kid yet, but I do agree the sky is the limit for him. As a Duke fan I'm loving the future!

While I think the Hayward injury definitely expedited his growth, don’t forget he was given the start on opening night.

Clearly Brad trusted him out of camp and obviously Danny believed in his skills to trade down. He’s too talented to not get time, even with Hayward.

37 and 23 as a rookie in game 7 is seriously one of the most underrated performances in NBA history.

I’m sure most non-Celtics fans don’t know about that game.

Its record for most CONSECUTIVE 20+pt as a rookie. And Tatum as a rookie is full 3 year younger then rookie Bird. Scary, isn't it?

both Tatum and Brown have been amazing this playoffs carrying the team offensively...at 20 and 21.
