I don't know about you but...
Watching Stevens drawing all these plays after timeout was something special... as a player I think you get a boost that someone has an idea to help you..
On the other hand.. watching the Sixers assistant coach taking over the defensive plays in the end was not something good to watch... there is always the psychological aspect of a move.. in 2 out 3 last time outs that assistant manager took over...I know every team has several coaches but there is that thing that is called.... leader's motivation... he should design the plays by himself
I think he gets sacked as outcoached in the end... good players... but no fantasy in plays...

Brown is a good coach and he had to show a lot of character in his first seasons in Philly.

He certainly deserves more time there, it's not like second round elimination is such a surprise for that Philly roster.

Exactly. People bought into the hype after they beat 13 lotto teams in a row, but they aren't really that strong. Their super weak schedule caused lofty expectations

Brett Brown is a Tyrone Lue level bad coach.

He has made little to no observable changes to his game plan over 3 games.

He sees Boston shutting down his PG game one and cannot figure out a way to make him more involved, design a few sets for him, etc. I mean I understand that Simmons sucks in sets, but if you’re not going to change anything at least sit him for TJ who has been super effective vs Rozier.

He goes to Embiid down low in bizarre situations and not when you’re supposed to. For example,  When you’re up by 20 that’s the perfect time for it.

The worst part about Brown is he doesn’t even know that he’s being out coached. This is a chess match between Magnus Carlson and my dog. Stevens makes adjustments that Brown isn’t even noticing.

I think Brown had some nice ATOs getting his best shooters wide-open 3s that were [at the time] pretty devastating.

I certainly don't think he is a bad coach, but wouldn't it be something for Brown to win Coach of the Year and then immediately be fired? Both of these things could very well happen.

Coaching is about always trying to achieve more.

Hinkie put the organization into reverse , to beat the sytem , but there are consequences for doing things WRONG or out of order.   Dratfing all those soecial young players with no veterns on th team the teach them or purpose .   Knowing we are here to lose , not win.  .....i would have not wanted to be drafted into such an oganization. 

Using up kids like garabage waiting for Simmons to come along .   They should have been trying to be the best team four years ago , got the coach into a winning mindset . 

The whole thing just sits a bad vib for sports in general .

Brown was used as a tanking coach , to sit on the side and shut up and take his medicine , it takes a cold ruthless none basketball mind like Hinkie to see it though .  Anybody with a true love for sports , this whole Hinike thing was a kick in he balls.  He is a low life and Im glade he is gone.  He ruined multiple careers , gave the fans four years of empty basketball and screwed a coach . 

Good job Philly owners.

I agree with this mentality.

Coaching/teaching young players to win vs lose.

One team's young players were blooded with the notion of winning. The other was taught to lose until they could draft a savior. It takes time to learn how to win. Philly doesn't know how to do that with that roster.

That's just not correct. Nobody teaches players to tank. That just doesnt happen. Tanking happens when GMs dont get good players. Players and coaches dont go out there to lose though. They play for their reputations and contracts.

That's why the Sixers went from league bottom tanking machine to the 3 seed in the East so quickly.

Exactly.  Stephen A got it in his head that the Sixers were going to steamroll us and can’t let it go so he’s blamin the coach.  I’m frankly not sure what brown has really done wrong.  His star can’t shoot a lick and it’s HIS fault he can’t get him in the game?  We’re wuicker, faster, and more athletic.  That’s why we’re winning.
