I recall watching him earlier in the season and coming away unimpressed. I watched him a few times later and came away very impressed with some of his scoring around the basket, even with his flaws.
The biggest flaw I see is that he does not have "it". I don't see killer instinct. I don't see someone who would demand the ball in the final minute of the 4th and make a play. I see someone whose confidence fades if the game isn't going his way. And you either have "it" or you don't.
I'm not impressed with his assist numbers either. He has good vision, but his playmaking ability is nowhere near the level of an elite passing PG, such as Rondo or Chris Paul. Overall his halfcourt playmaking skills aren't that impressive. In transition obviously is a different story, but if you're able to take that away then you've basically neutralized him.
