I want this to happen because I want Jayson and Jaylen to go right at LeBron for a best-of-seven series. If our 20 and 21 year old rising stars learn that they don't have to fear "The King," they will have no problem dominating any game against any player for the rest of their careers.

Wayyyyyyyyyyy too soon. Let’s beat the sixers first. Once we beat them, I don’t care who shows up.

On to Banner 18.

Yes, it would be a poetic justice. Celtics kicked Lebron into south beach. Lebron then closed the curtain for the big 3 era. It's time for this young Celtic group to shut down Lebron's window.

That was one of my wishes before the season began.
To biblically dethrone LBJ from the (USA's middle) East.
"Kneel if you are a true king!"
Make him flee, and seeing him desperately ring-chase for the rest of his career.

It would also mean that we are again in the ECF, with this group, it would be amazing.

LeBron's one-man show can beat the Celtics. He did that handily on Paul Pierce night and I believe Kyrie was playing that game too, and with a more healthier team at that time.

No, he won't. Last year, we won at least one game with much softer, inferior team. This year, we became much tougher and more versatile than ever. LeCoach.. errr Ty Lue will have to pick his poison because he can't let any of Brown, Tatum and Rozier get open. And Brad will expose their defense because we all know Cavs can't really defend as shown against the Pacers.

Raptors only have two players that can create.

I am sure the majority of us have seen us beat LeBron plenty as he did not have as much luck in the PP era until he stacked a team in MIA.

Father Time is starting to kick his butt, too, he is not flying as high as he used to do so.   Still very productive but it is taking a lot more effort now.

Maybe he doesn’t get up quite as high but he’s better than ever offensively.  The fact that it takes more effort has a lot to do with his lack of teammates to take some of the burden.

Raps are going to beat the Cavs, only question is whether it's 5 games or 6. LBJ's supporting cast just isn't there and it's not the same old Raps.

This take did not age well. Unless the Raps come roaring back and win the next four...

For now, for now but his fall is on the radar and I used to think once his athletic faltered that he would toast but he has developed a nice jumper.   Time will tell, pardon my pun.

Of course we still have plenty to do in this series, but the long term potential of facing Cleveland (opposed to Toronto) is far greater.

It’s a win-win scenario for us because our guys get to take on an all-time great like LeBron and learn from that, win or lose. I think Brown learned a lot from our series last year, and we saw how improved he was this season. Would love to see Tatum get the same experience.

This team may actually be better equipped to take on LeBron than last season. Morris Defends LeBron well, Brown and Tatum can give him other matchup issues. Then you don’t have Kyrie to deal with, we didn’t have IT for that series and Rozier is much better than last season as well. Baynes is a much better defensive anchor than Amir. We are a much better rebounding team than last season.

Would be a fun series imo. I know people think the Cavs are amazeballs once again, but the truth is LeBron is just being LeBron against Toronto. They nearly lost to Indiana if not for a couple (expected) Herculean performances from James.

That said, we still have to go put in work in Philly and put a stranglehold on this series. Winning the first two may not have been expected by most, but all we did was hold serve. Time to go break them tomorrow. Simmons asking for us to get more physical with him? Sounds like a plan.

Don't really care. I just want to win every game we play.

I would love a Celtics vs Cavs show down !    Brown and Co are intimidated by Bron......nor is CBS

i think it is written in he stars .

The raptors are going down,  if not in four , then five,  Bron is methodical destroying them and toying with them.

Bron > Lowry + Derozen

he has made them his SONS .
