The Process is really starting to bug me.  He's good but he's accomplished nothing.  I pray the crowed taunts his ass all game.

Ian Begley
ESPN Staff Writer
Joel Embiid wasn't overly impressed by the Boston crowd in Game 1. He said it was ‘OK' and commended the crowd for backing its team. "I love when people talk trash so keep bringing it on. We're going to see how it goes."

Not sure I see what is irritating about those comments.  Seems reasonably respectful and then a little bit of “wait and see” cockiness — but isn’t that what you’d expect? I don’t think it was over the top.

He’s also frighteningly good.

Yeah, I mean, he's a Sixer. What is he supposed to say? Of course he will say the crowd in Phili is louder.

If someone like Tatum or Rozier says the crowd in Phili is amazing, better than Boston's, we would be ready to ship them out.

Embiid is a great 5.

He was born in the wrong era unfortunately for him where the center position was the most important position on the floor. Today it is arguable the least. That is why his value (and that of Towns) tends to be exaggerated by fans, experts.

Guy like Horford has more utility in today’s NBA. If Al was the same age, I’d rather have him.

0 problem with this.

Honestly he lowkey gave us some credit.

Plus some other sixers came out in the media last week and said Boston was as loud as it gets. I watched the game last night with some of my buddies including a heat fan and a Wizards fan (both of whom I've pulled aboard the Celtics bandwagon) and they were both in awe of how electric the crow was.

Bostons fans are the best.

This is why it irritated me.  I live in Ohio and I've been to Boston 3 times to see The C's play.  No arena gets as loud as Boston.  This goes for the regular season as well.  He made a comment about Miami now Boston.  He's a little full of himself for a guy who was hurt for so long.  He's a great player and I hope the C's shut his ass down.

LOL.

While down 20-25, the Garden was still buzzing, and folks weren't leaving (like Miami fans would). Then the C's go on a run, and the momentum shifts and the 18,000+ fans helped guide the C's to the hard fought victory at the end!  ;D

The crowd responded!

Jaylen says this was the loudest he's ever heard the Garden in the playoffs!  8)

These games have been very humbling for Simmons and embiid regardless of outcome of series. They got caught up in their press clippings and beating the Memphis grizzlies of the world

They definitely look a lot less confident after what took place here in Boston.

The Sixers definitely came out with more energy tonight and we were flat to start but once we found our rhythm, we were off and running and they couldn’t stop us.

All the different looks we throw at Simmons is confusing him, and Baynes really knows how to muscle Embiid off his spots and prevent him from doing what he wants.

The Sixers will be even more energized in front of their home crowd and I expect them to come out like gangbusters. They know they can’t lose this game. It’s up to us to match their intensity from the start and get in their heads. We can play calmly without being too relaxed.

Brown knows he’s getting outcoached. Embiid knows our fans don’t play. Simmons doesn’t even want to be aggressive because he doesn’t want to go to the line.

Building that 22-point lead was probably worse for them than had they got dusted again. To blow a big lead like that (for the second time to us) has got to be very demoralizing with your back against the wall like they now are.

I don't really see this as a big deal.  I'm not even sure how this qualifies as a "diss".

No problem with this comment at all.

Still don’t like Embiid, but not because of this.

It was a stupid thing to say.
