What just turned 20 this year?   Still bones.  Wait until he gets stronger

He also showed fight on away games vs Bucks also

All in all the future is bright with Tatum (and Brown).  Glad Danny drafted him!

He showed a lot of poise tonight, when we needed him the most.

yes.  Didn't buckle under pressure.  Attacked the basket.

Saw some different moves from him tonight. Feels like every game there is some kind of new move he has up his sleeves

I think for someone that has the beautiful midrange jumper and the ability to get to the rim at will..he should mix it up a little...he goes too much to the rim...If he  fakes the drive and settles more for the mid range  jumper the extra second he gains from the defendant guessing which move he makes will be so valuable.

Actually isn’t that what he did tonight?

I thought he showed great maturity in making choices and trusting his skill. Things won't work out for even the best players every time. Tatum has a high percentage of making good choices and things working out.

One thing I like about Tatum is he doesn't usually force it. He's a decent athlete, tho not a great one so he usually needs to get room for drives with a dribble move. He does his nice little back and forth "sway" around the 3pnt line to get some rhythm and then gives the defender a move. If he beats him he goes for it, if the defender stays with him he usually makes the right pass. Unlike Rozier who will just force it up and pray.

Now if he could just stop randomly losing the ball as he goes up for the layup that would be great. That, morris refusing to pass out of an isolation at the elbow and Jaylen front rimming a free throw are the three staples of my Celtics Bingo card.

What impressed me the most was his patience : it seems on almost every possession he took his time to find the right play and it worked. He wasn't afraid of taking huge 3's either and his block on the fastbreak was great.

One of the things that has impressed me a lot is the development he's shown with his ball-handling.

When you compare this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PGyILRo4Sjs

To what he's able to do now, the difference is remarkable

I agree, Tatum is a stud who we should keep.   Once he adds about 15 lbs of muscle he could be unstoppable.

For most of the series, Tatum was having trouble with the more intense defense of the playoffs.  However, he never forced his shot if it wasn’t there. Yes, he needs to work on finishing at the rim in a more deceptive way, a bit predictable at this point.

The biggest thing is the growth that will come from his rookie playoff experience.

Brad doesn’t think terms of traditional positions, but I think a lot of us want to see Tatum eventually play the 4 where he can take advantage of less agile bigs.  This also puts GH at the 3 and JB at the 2. That’s their most talented lineup with Kyrie at point and Horford at the 5.

Tighter defense man to man ,  Tatum needs to do the Freak imitation,  take your man inside alot more

All this court time,  pressure of playoffs is gonna put him years ahead in development

He had an "attack" mentality last night. He played like a veteran. He is special. What a future we have with this kid.
