The kid is 20 with a summers work on ball handling  and becoming aware of passing-why not  become as good as Simmons--just be as versatile as he can .
The Greek Freak did it
Why put limits on him,who knows what the kid can mature into.

I don’t think he can be a pg however I’d like to see him add a “point forward” ability to his repertoire like pierce had

I don’t know about that, but for someone who was labeled a black hole coming out of college, his court vision has been a pleasant surprise. (Along with his defense, rebounding and overall poise of course.)

He started at 4
https://watch.nba.com/game/20171017/BOSCLE

He started at 3 in the 3rd game (Baynes in)
https://watch.nba.com/game/20171020/BOSPHI

He started at 2, alongside Rozier, after Kyrie went out
https://watch.nba.com/game/20180314/WASBOS

...Kyrie and Smart are out, Terry is GTD.  ;D

I won't go crazy if he starts at 1 today, but little Larkin might be a more realistic option.

Won't be Larkin, CBS said he isn't making the trip. It will be roze, that kid is lbj-like when it comes to injuries. I think he plays. He said he is definitely playing.

Yes, with Rozzay and Larkin out I think Stevens wants to get a good look at Tatum running the point. This should be fun to watch.

If they think Tatum can play 4 positions then I think either Smart or Rozier are gone next year when Hayward comes back.

The offense will run through Horford. You are going to see more point Horford than point Tatum.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Haha, had to force that kid out. Now, this is our first game without him. Time for Bird. We have no luck... well, we did have some luck because that fall he took looked as though his knees, ankles and legs were going to explode!

My guess is Horford will get most of the  ball handling responsibility tonight, with Jayson and Jaylen getting some as well. Long term not a strategy for sucess as neither Tatum nor Brown has good vision, although both have under rated handles. For tonight though it will be interesting.

On a side note I think we get a little too caught up in what position a guy can play vs what he should play. LIke ya Tatum can play the 2 or 4 in a pInch, or Smart can guard a center for a trip or two, but ultimately those guys are still best playing their usual position. I certainly dont want Tatum guarding PGs.
