The last month has been a revelation for the Celtics. Guys are coming out of nowhere to make contributions. Jayson Tatum is almost putting up the same production as was expected from Gordon Hayward (seriously folks he's about 3 points shy with his March production). Marcus Morris looks like a new man.

But for me Terry William Rozier III, or Three-Roz, is the biggest revelation of the bunch. Danny was roundly criticized for refusing to give him up in a deal for Ibaka last year. Danny again looks like a genius since Three-Roz has seized his opportunity with two hands and stuffed it home. In 12 games as a starter he's averaging 18.6 pgg, 6 rebounds and 5 assists a game with a TS of .534. Those are borderline All-Star numbers folks. While I always allow that things can change, we're starting to get outside the realm of it just being due to a small sample size. Over the last two months TR has played in 24 games as a reserve and a starter, averaging 16.5/5/4 with a TS about .560. Unlike some PGs, Three-Roz has shown aptitude on both ends of the court. He's not undersized (6' 8" wingspan), a defensive liability or just a volume scorer. He's shown an all-around game.

In short, he's looking like he could start on many teams. He just turned 24. He has one year on his rookie deal after this one and he'd only be a RFA (and those don't change hands often), allowing any team to control his rights.

Now before I continue, let me state emphatically that I am not advocating getting rid of him. But I'm also a pragmatist. Smart has played himself out of a big RFA offer with this latest hand injury. If he's resigned I can't see enough minutes to go around. Even if he isn't, TR may very well want to be a starter somewhere. Moreover, should his pace continue through the rest of the regular season there can be little doubt in anyone's mind that he could, and should, be a starter.

So what is Three-Roz worth right now in trade value?
Jaylen Brown will be an All Star in the next 5 years.

Love the nick name, Granath. Trademark it!

See him as a key component of packaged offer for AD, which will gain momentum in off season if Pels don’t make playoffs (4 game losing streak), and don’t re-sign Boogie. Obviously package would have to include Sac pick and one of Brown/Tatum as well.

Three-Roz? I was at first...who??

is this your nickname for Rozier?

anyways at this rate he is worth at least 12 million per season and could bank 15 million per season for a team looking for a starting PG

Terry Rozier has proven he is a starter in the league.

I hope he returns the favor to Ainge and stays on a team friendly deal

Say 14-21 1st round pick due to him being on coming up rfa last year and not too many teams needing a PG. He has shown he can indeed start in the league so any team in need should try for him.

If Robert Williams were available around 15, I'd trade Rozier and our 1st to get him.

I don't like this nickname.  Giving him a new one doesn't change his trade value.  ;D
