Boston will have a tougher round 2, if they get past Milwaukee.

Say what? Lol

I’ll take Philly/Miami over Cleveland and Lebron any day. I’ll bet that Miami upsets Philly, too. Their youth will really be tested in the playoffs, and I just don’t see them responding well to it.

Everyone picking the Heat over the Sixers do you realize Philly has won 16 in a row? Embid's coming back and no one in the league can guard Simmons.

To be honest, I wouldn't be shocked if Washington beat Toronto. Their biggest strength was their "bench mob" and during the regular season that is important.

In the playoffs, star power matters and I'd take Wall and Beal over Lowry and Derozan.

I suppose Toronto will win, but I don't think it'll be pretty.

A) 13 of those 16 were against tanking and lottery teams, and there were significant asterisks next to those three playoff teams that they beat - Butler was out for Minny; Cleveland had several key injuries and was on a SEGABABA; and Milwaukee essentially tanked this game to avoid Cleveland in the first round. That streak is much less impressive when you look at the actual circumstances.

B) Embiid is still out for at least game 1, and it’s unclear when he’s actually coming back.

Philly is so incredibly overhyped right now based on this shallow win streak, and this will be displayed in the playoffs with their substantial lack of playoff experience from their core guys.

I don't want to do the math but wasn't the average opponent during Philly's streak something like 13-15 games below .500 when they played them? And didn't those teams play them while trying to lose?

That Philly win streak might be the lamest win streak in NBA history.

You know, on second thought...I wouldn't mind seeing Boston take down Philadelphia for some brotherhood revenge.  ;D 8)

Sixers streak included only 4 wins against 500+ teams, all of which were at home.  Only the Cavs could be said to be remotely a contender and there were many tankers.  They also don't finish games well and had the worst record in tight games among teams with home court in the first round.

I wouldn't be surprised about the Sixers getting knocked off by the Heat and I like our chances against either of them in the second round assuming we get past the Bucks, which I do. I think we got as good a draw as we could have avoiding the Wizards, Pacers, and Cavs in the first 2 rounds. That being said, we lack a lot of playoff experience.

I think the truth is somewhere in between.  The streak isn't as impressive as it should be for obvious scheduling reasons.  They played a lot of bad teams. But they can't control who they play,  and they did much of it without Embiid.  Celtics played Atlanta 3 games ago and lost to that team that should be tanking hard to get a top 3 pick.  Playing a team with a bad record doesn't always mean that that team is obviously tanking and not giving effort.

Philly is playing well right now and getting contributions from everyone.  Fultz is actually contributing.  Confidence is a scary thing in basketball.  Once a team thinks they are winners something clicks.  They destroyed the bucks tonight and really embarrassed them.  By the time the Bucks pulled their starters it was already over.

I am not saying that Philly is dangerous because of the streak, but they are becoming dangerous because all of their young players are starting to get it, and they are quickly gaining confidence.

And for the record I don't like this one bit.

I think some of the fans are underrating the 76ers and simply discrediting them for playing bad teams/teams in a bad rhythm. They do have two #1 drafted players and a #3 drafted player of the last 4 years. They are a dangerous young squad. That "process" sure is something....
