I think it's fair to say we're playing one of these three teams in the first round, unless IND or PHI suffer a "mini-collapse" before the season ends and slips in the standings.

Neither team will be easy in the first round, especially without Kyrie and Smart, but if there's any team who could weather the storm, it's this gritty team with Brad Stevens at the helm and hopefully no more injuries.

That said, which team do you prefer we face? There's about 8-9 games left to go in the season, and as of today, we'd play MIL in the first round, but MIA is only 0.5 games behind MIL.

My Hope? Miami.

Miami won't be easy, but I am confident we'd take them in 6 games.

But I feel real wary about playing the Wizards in the first round especially with Wall coming back, and if the Greek Freak goes off against us, then that could get ugly for us.

Bucks, easy. They used to bully the C's with size but Monroe is already on our side and they don't have anyone who can match him in the post. Moose will also be fired up and will want the opportunity against the team that shipped on a dumpster hell.

As long as the players have fun and work together, I don't mind who plays in the match.

Give me Milwaukee. We'll put our bigger players on the Greek Freak. Outside of Giannis, nobody really seems to pose much of a threat in the other positions.

If Rozier, Tatum and Morris can replicate their regular season performances into the playoffs, we win that series in 5.

The last team I want to see among the three in Round 1 is Washington with John Wall back. They'll easily cream the PG/backcourt battle there which would be the difference-maker in a seven game series.

Milwaukee.  They have the best player among the three but their whole is less than the sum of their parts.

I don't think anyone in the East will be a cake walk for any other team in the East. These should be some really good first round series all around.

I think all 3 of the teams we have the potential to match up with in round 1 will give us fits, especially down 1/3 of our roster.
ok fine

As of right now, the first round of the playoffs would be:

MIL vs. TOR
BOS vs. MIA
CLE vs. WAS
IND vs. PHI

Have to admit, that's an intriguing set of match ups, including WAS vs. CLE when Wall comes back healthy. Or even if the Celtics get MIL and TOR gets MIA and/or CLE falls to #4 and plays IND (while WAS plays PHI), that's intriguing as well.

I think this April and May will be a lot of fun!  ;D

Would def want Milwaukee. We have so many guys to throw on Giannis to slow him down. They have underperformed all season where Miami has over performed. I'd want to stay away from Washington until Smart is back. Wall and Beal scare me too much.

Honestly if we played Washington the first round w/o Kyrie and Smart, I think we lose that series in 6 games.

Doesn't matter. The Cs will beat any of the three teams they could face. Onky teams that can beat the Cs are Toronto and Cleveland
