Rozier is averaging 18.6 points, 6 rebounds, and 4.2 assists as a starter during the past five games.

Is Kyrie expendable?

People have already forgotten that Kyrie is one of the best scorers in the league.

On another note, how much is Rozier's next contract going to be worth if he keeps playing at this level? He would be the perfect 6th man on a championship team, in my opinion, but will he want a bigger role?

Over the last one game, TR is averaging 33 points with an incredible 1.000 eFG%.

Rozier for Harden: who says no?

Over the past 21 games, his per36 numbers are 20ppg, 5 apg, and 6rpg on 43%, 44%, 70% shooting numbers.

He is a really good player and proving to be a starting caliber guard in the NBA -- something that CBS said when he was struggling to get his rhythm on offense.

Whoever posted the thread about Rozier potentially being like George Hill getting shipped out for a late lottery or late teens draft pick may have called his shot...

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
Rozier has been great in the 2nd half of the season and last night he was just fantastic. There were many of us who just thought that if he could just gain a little bit of control he could be a real force. While the sample size is still small, I don't think there are many people who think he is a worthless player anymore.

Obviously he is not better than Kyrie, but his increased play seems to have given Danny more options. Kyrie is likely not on the trade block, but somebody like Brown could be.

It is assumed Brown will get a max contract in two years when his current contract is up - and deservedly so! But, rather than letting Rozier go for free at the end of his contract, could Danny throw a curve ball by trading Brown, picks, and filler in a blockbuster deal for a star while signing Terry to a more reasonable contract (less than the max Brown will get) and starting him at SG?

No matter what happens, there is a lot to be excited about with Rozier's surge into relevancy.

My dream for Rozier is for Danny to trade him and next year's Sac pick to get us into the top 7 of this year's draft. Every good game he has makes that more realistic.

Go Terry!

Assuming it's been Danny's plan all along to keep Smart over Rozier, they're both doing us huge favors right now.

Smart came into the year looking to prove he's worth ~16 million a year, and now it's looking like we can likely keep him for half that.

Rozier came into the year worth absolutely nothing and looked like one of the worst rotation players in the league.  I don't think we could have given him away in a trade, and now his value is through the roof.  We could see him traded for another Marcus Morris caliber of player like Bradley was.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Bummed I missed last night's game.

One of my favorite things to see with regularity this season has been the Rozier steal and breakaway dunk.

Yup, buy low (Smart), sell high (Rozier) seems to make sense. TP.
