Kyrie knee issue update: Could be out the whole week

He did not receive an MRI, they are not too worried, but Stevens says Kyrie could be out the whole week this week:

Yeah, and lately it seems he plays poorly every game before sitting out for his knee. I hope they do what they need to do to have him ready for the playoffs. Winning a few more games between now and the end of the season wont matter at all if he's hobbling around and shooting 4-20 during playoff games.

It sounds like he needs a scope after the season.  The knee soreness might be something Kyrie deals with for the rest of his career.  If that's the case I hope he seeks out advice from Kobe.  Kobe needed to manage knee problems for most of his career.

Seriously bummed about this. I am going to my first Celtic game in Minnesota on Thursday. I was hoping to start MVP chants when Irving went to the FT line.

Here's to hoping Brown, Rozier, Smart, Tatum, and Horford show up like they did against the Bulls.
