Jaylen and Tatum have totally different games. When they both figure out how to finish at the rim consistently they going to be double trouble.

I'm actually surprised how smooth Jaylen's jumper is. He has a very nice release considering that was suppose to be his weakness.

He's a hard worker and smart enough to make his weak points into strengths by putting the focus and time in the gym needed to improve them. It shows.

Its too bad Larry Bird is associated with the Pacers. I bet a highly intelligent person like Brown could learn a lot picking Larry's brain about how to get better year after year.

6'7 SG.  Jaylen Brown is a mismatch most times for the other team to defend.  Because JB has developed his 3 to become a credible outside threat, now defense have trouble, because he can drive on closing defenders who are forced to come out to him.  His baseline moves are nasty because of his explosive first step and credible threat to score from outside.

A lot of people are overlooking the reason we aren't missing Bradley and have become better defensively is that we have a really long 2 guard now named Jaylen Brown.  I hope to see him continue his growth.  The 'loose handles', seems to be a thing of the past.  He's improving in that department daily.  Is the influence for that change being exposed to Kyrie on a daily basis?  Has he picked up some handling pointers, or just learning from osmosis by watching Kyrie?

The big thing is that he is starting to look for shots in the 5-10 ft range when the rim is clogged up. Before he would just plow towards the rim even if there were a couple of help defenders. With his size, lateral quickness and leaping ability, it will be impossible to stop him from getting into the lane, and if he can pull up for short bank shots when the help rotations block the rim, he can score at will.

He averaged just over an assist per game through December. Since then, he’s averaged 2.5 and fewer turnovers. This coincides with the teams struggles on offense and meh record, but it appears as if cbs was developing his long term playmaking during this time (Rozier too).

I like our team. I think Brown and Tatum are both allstar wings in the making. We are going to be tough to stop moving forward.

Honestly I think the Celts' upside is higher than Philly given that Kyrie is currently better than either Simmons or Embiid and the Celts have Brown, Tatum, Hayward as well.

As for Milwaukee, Giannis is the only really superlative talent there, and for some reason his huge numbers and freakish size & athleticism haven't yet translated to his team being dominant at any point.

Simmons and Embiid are legitimate superstars.

Khris Middleton is not.

Parker might. (he's not a superstar yet, but neither is Simmons)

Simmons is a legitimate super star? For real?

I don't trust Embiid's health.   While I don't wish an injury on him, I would not trust his knees to last long term.   They been hurt before and most likely will be hurt again.  Broken navicular bone and meniscus tear already.   Now the meniscus tear should be fine but broken bones in feet have ended many a career.

Simmons is talented so is Embiid.   But Simmons does not play with a ton of effort or drive.

As far as Fultz, I am in the camp that he won't ever amount to much given what we have seen thus far, consensus be danged.

I am old enough like many here to remember when the Sixers Celtics were a real rivalry.   I just don't think the Process has enough leaders to get there.  That being I hate the Sixers from the old days and I might not be the least biased person regarding them.

Given the overall status of the present C's and Sixers, I think the C's look a little better.  But if you had a draft tomorrow with Embiid, Simmons, Brown and Tatum -- my guess is that Embiid and Simmons go 1 and 2.  How this plays out in the future is anyone's guess.

Except Embiid and Simmons have to be the two best players on their team. Brown and Tatum only have to be the 4th and 5th best players on their team and if they are better than that, that means they are better than an All-Star.

is it me, or do Jaylens free throws look much better lately? he seems to be hitting them at a good clip. and because he has been it seems he has been much more aggressive at getting to the basket without fear of missing free throws.
