I can see that never happening, without salary matching and draft picks headed to Pistons/Clippers. That would be a tough trade for 3 way teams to make.

Why would the Pistons take on Thompson's contract? Plus if the Clippers are getting Bradley, they would most likely have to move Lou Williams.

I thought this case was closed. Avery is not an upgrade on this team, especially when Hayward is back. For god sake, Danny had to move him, to make room for GH.

Yeah I really don't want Bradley back, nor his 15-20 million contract that he is most likely gonna get from some desperate team.

I'm really surprised the Pistons would trade Avery.  Unless its for a no way in hell deal for them.  I thought sure the Pistons were willing to sign him to a long term contract when they traded for him.  I haven't watched them except when they play us so maybe he sucks this year, I dunno.

We literally can't acquire him this year. Not allowed under CBA.

Free agency would be different but haha, not happening.

A couple of trades I could see happening

To Lakers Avery and Tolliver

To Pistons Clarkson and Nance JR

or

To 76ers Avery and Johnson

To Detroit Bayless and Saric

or my long shot trade

To Hornets Avery, Jackson and Kennard

To Detriot Walker and Batum
Mavs
Wiz
Hornet

This one put the Pistons so far into the luxury tax I had to check to see if they went over the hard cap.  No way is Detroit taking on Batum’s contract, dumping their rookie lottery pick who’s playing fine, AND going into the tax all in one deal.

According to reports, Lakers offered Clarkson for Bradley.

I could see him being coveted by a western playoff team, San Antonio, Oklahoma, clippers.  Guy off bench who can play hard man on d on steph and other western pg.  I don't see him as a starter on a good playoff team though.

I don't know where AB would land, but I know where I don't want him to land and that is Cleveland.  I would probably throw up all over the screen having to watch Avery play against the C's in the playoffs and for LEbra.  Please do not let this happen.

I think that's a salary dump of Clarkson more than them wanting Bradley.
