This is not his first game over 20 with not bad shooting split this season
I know everyone is mad at him not passing to Rozay but that shot isn't that bad either, he is really getting it together. also knock down clutch freethrows and a clutch steal that is ruined by brown's hero-acting dunk attempt
I hope we are able to retain him at a medium price which is going to be a bargain

Smart had one of his better games and was hitting threes
Rebounding the miss and heading up court full speed with clock winding down-when i saw a frozen shot there was 1.5 seconds left was that enough to pass to rozier and for him to get a shot off.-Was it hero ball or lack of time  or perception there wasn't enough and he had been shooting well-

Cannot blame him on this one.

I think there is still enough time left to make a pass to a better shooter, but when a game is on the line like that, with that much time left, you just gotta make a quick decision.

He was confident, and the shot, from the TV looked good. He had a decent look. I don't blame him for that decision.

I am okay with that shot based on his shooting for the game plus he usually comes up big in end of shot clock or end of game shots. It's quite possible that if he passed no shot would have gone up in time so I am okay with that shot. It's the rest of the game and players I have problem with, specifically Tatum & Brown - they both were terrible. The fact that Kuzma was the hero and we couldn't slow him down as he is hitting every shot and doing behind the back passes under the hoop not once but twice. An undersized but overachieving Randle absolutely owned Horford and any rebound in site. I can't see our team doing any better tonight against a better team with Blake probably going off on us. I don't think I can stay up for this misery. Hopefully Al plays after his shot to the head last night. Was it this year or last year that Al missed like 9 games for concussion?

Smart has had these kinds of games and stretches of games for his whole career.  If he puts together two months of this kind of play, I'll start to revise my expectations for him.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

Exactly. It'll take a lot more than 1 game to make me think anything have changed with Smart's shooting and finishing.
