If Trae Young is the BPA and becomes a Celtic. Whats the competition. Kidd and Nash were on the same team although young. Kevin Johnson Nash and Kidd were on the same team in 1996 on the Suns.

I think Stevens would just Love Young and I think Brad would make it work.

Harden is somewhat of a PG now so maybe him and Paul.

How many championships did the double PG teams win?   That's right, zero.

I disagree.
GSW and Cleveland, the last two champions had multiple playmakers.
No sense to insist on purely 2 nominal PGs.
If I could make it work, I'd like my team to have 5 playmakers in the lineup.

Another good Kevin Johnson one - KJ and Mark Price in Cleveland during KJ's rookie year.

The closest matches I can think of are:

70s Lakers = Jerry West and Gail Goodrich = both guys more combo guards than PGs only
70s Knicks = Walt Frazier and Earl Monroe = Monroe more of a combo guard
80s Pistons = Isiah Thomas and Joe Dumars = Joe D more of a combo guard

Early 80's Lakers

Norm Nixon and Magic Johnson won 2 titles together 1980 and 1982

This is a terrible argument IMO. Are you telline that Irving, Trae Young, Horford, Tatum, Brown, Smart, Rozier couldn't win a title? Of course they could.

How about Curry and Irving as your Starting backcourt instead of Thompson. Think they could win it all? Rest my case. It's about the other players as much as anything.

Nope it illustrated what a terrible premise your two points are in terms of winning titles.   A lot title teams had great point forwards too, like the Celtics in the 80s and the 90s Bulls.   There is little reason to go double PG,

We will never know because this team does not exist.   NBA execs don't out together these teams often because they don't win titles.   Hypothetically could they win, sure, but it won't happy because neither of them could defend the other teams guards in tough situations.  So you better dust off your case...

Wasn't DA a shooting guard when DJ was here?  I may be too old, but I don't remember DA running the point.  He was a good ball handler though.
