Tatum could be the best player in the past 2 drafts. That trade down was highway robbery for Tatum and the pick


It almost as good as the Brooklyn trade

We don't know that he's the best player yet, but he seems to have the highest ceiling, and getting a guy who can genuinely positively contribute to a top team from the jump is awfully rare.

But given we were picking him anyway, we basically got a lotto pick for the right to pay Tatum less $. It's pretty absurd when you break it down that way.

looks like teams are going to go back to hanging up on Danny. lol

He suffered that treatment for years after swindling Brooklyn, now this heist is not going to enamore him to his colleagues.

It isn't likely, but given how incredible these top 6-7 players in 2018's draft are, we may end up wirh a talent equal or superior to Tatum.

And it was FREE for all intensive purposes

Or you can legitimately rationalize the Kyrie trade as only losing IT, Crowder, Zizic, and a 2nd, since Danny waived his magic wand and got "his guy" and also gained a blue-chip trade asset in the process.

I have said it before on this blog but I think the Fultz trade / Tatum pick, if the Lakers pick conveys, will go down as his greatest move ever.

Wait until Ainge lands the 2nd-5th pick this year. Talk about dangling an asset.

IF it's #2, you take Bagley, if it's #3, you take Bamba, if it's #4, you trade it.
