I was going to ask - is that usual for him? I don't ever listen to the radio broadcast.

Too funny.

He was a fan, caught up in an emotional moment...he has done what so many of us have done/would like to have done at some point in our fandom: screamed invectives irrationally at a superior but vanquished foe.

Like screaming at the Big Bad Wolf after you've killed him.

Not his job...granted. Not professional....indubitably ...But Funny?....Hell Yeah!!!

He has a very dry humor. And he says a lot of off the wall stuff. His metaphors are strange. He talks about plays as food at times, it's wacky. He has his moments where he cracks you up and then has you scratchin your head. But in fairness he does know the game and talks often about how guys should be attacking or defending their opponents similar to a coach breaking down film. He doesn't feel like a total homer until he calls the end of a game. He loves tight games with us coming out on top. It's usually something hysterical as he gets caught up in it. It's a lot like Zo for the Pats.

I, for one, hope that our Celtic announcers never become too professional. From Johnny to Tommy to Max, keep 'em coming.

He did a similar thing after we ended the Warriors home win record, was it last season? I only know because I heard them playing it all over Sportscenter.  I didn't realize it was Max until the other night when they played this new one and someone and mentioned his name.  Finals MVP, he's earned the right to be as silly as he wants.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.
