Even when the team was playing extremely awful in the first half, and while they were down like 20-25 points (or more) for much of the first half and the first part of the 3rd quarter, the crowd was STILL in the game, and was actually pretty loud as well.
Can't speak for all other teams/fanbases, but I feel confident in saying that if that happened to another home team (getting demolished), most of the fans in the arena probably would have just left halfway, or been extremely quiet (sort of like the Miami Heat fans of the Big 3 Era with Lebron, right?

)
And you could tell in the last 15 minutes of the game that, as the Celtics fought back and also got the crowd roaring again, the Rockets looked shook. When I look at it, the only real thing that kept Houston still in the lead for much of the last 3-4 minutes were some dumb TO's by the Celtics and some "Hail Mary 3's" by Harden, otherwise it looked like the C's from 5 minutes left in the game would coast to a win (w/o needing the last minute thriller).
Either way, the TD Garden crowd was fantastic, definitely was our 6th man last night (sorry Marcus Morris!), and the whole game felt like an insane playoff atmosphere (with some key injuries on both sides, I'll agree). Dare I say, a "possible" Finals match-up this year OR next?
