Also, it's quite possible that Indy are legit playoff contenders... they go up a gear with Oladipo too.

There was a Cblogger who was in love with Sabonis pre-draft. I remember at the time thinking that he was awful, but I now see it now.

I was one of those people. Thought I was wrong during his OKC stint but I think that more to do with their system more than anything.

Westbrook is one of the players you don't want when you plan on developing players. Most of his former teammates play better after they left him.

With no Jaylen or Morris, one of the back up wings/guards was going to have to do something. Thankfully, Smart has risen to the task tonight.

Keep letting it come to you Marcus. Nice finish (have to admit I wasn't expecting him to finish).  Don't start heaving.  5-6  11-3-3.

Big time play from Al to Theis.  Glad Smart didn't jack the 3 in transition too.

This is the first time all season I've felt the C's are getting whipped. This Pacer is coached up. Will have to play well to win this.

 ::)

Missing shots makes the game look lopsided. They aren't out-playing us. Our rookies are missing wide open outside shots and their veterans are hitting tough contested shots.

Its a miss or make league.

They are making the C's work on defense. Not many teams have done that so far this season.

Don't let your eyes deceive you. They are active because we are missing shots.

We are missing wide open shots and that energizes them. That doesn't mean they are whipping us.

It's ok to give the other team credit. The defense was the bigger problem in that half.

I'm not scared to give credit to a good team. I'm just saying we missed a lot of wide open shots, and that's the difference in the game.
