I’ll say it... we deserve to lose this game. Just some all around stupid play and stupid rotations.

This is going to be a well deserved loss.

Effort is not there tonight. Looks like a team that thought they won after 1st quarter.

Lol look where experimenting with dumb lineups and being cute with the minutes gets you. Ridiculous.

The Celtics have had one full practice since the season started, and zero since Morris came back, after the preseason work was largely wasted because Hayward got hurt.  Of course there are going to be weird lineups, because when else is Brad going to get to try them.

Besides, I’d much rather have a coach that tries a lot of different things in the regular season than just the couple things he knows work most of the time.  If that’s your style, go watch Scott Brooks in Washington.

Practice has nothing to do with it. He's went to this same full bench lineup that A TON of people (including national media guys like Zach Lowe) have been harping on since the beginning of the season.

It's not that difficult of a concept to stagger guys, which has been one of the few persistent criticisms that have followed Brad throughout his NBA tenure. He's always had difficulties with these types of rotation problems and leaving failing units in too long.

This has nothing to do with Hayward's injury and little practice time; it's been one of Brad's few weak areas for the last four years.

Brad staggers guys all the time.  Seriously, the Celtics’ starting 5 traditionally plays some of the fewest minutes together every year.

Take this year.  The Celtics most used lineup has played 70 minutes together.  Compare that to the Wizards, for example, who have their most-used lineup at 160 minutes and the next at 120 minutes.

The argument is that Brad staggers too much, not too little.
Argument can be he's developing guys for later in year.  Only he can answer his theory for playing guys but I'm fine with that if that is his idea.  Still drinking green, we are slugging now but ready for a burst.

Rozier and Smart have secretly been trash for like three straight games.

no reason for CBS to not finish this team when we had them down 15. stagger lineups AND find a new bench scorer NOW. stop wasting time with nader, etc.

Horford needs to be way more aggressive without Irving on the floor.  His passiveness is detrimental given how poor our scoring options are when the bench unit is out there.

My God, Marcus, stop freaking shooting from beyond the arc.

I was thinking the entire time he had the ball, "Anything but a Marcus 3 is good here. Anything but a Marcus 3 is good here. Anything but a Marcus 3 is good here."

And of course, Marcus shoots a 3.

Wasn't Dallas one of those places like OKC where Marcus traditionally played well?

I think

but he has forgot how to shoot a basketball in the worst way

Smart and Rozier can't throw it in the ocean

If I had to choose a game to lose it would be this one. (I secretly want this streak to be over so we can just go back to playing ball with out all this added pressure.) We have a lot to get better at.
