I would like to thank the NBA script writers and the officials for allowing the style of play that enabled us to have a fighting chance to squeak out a win against a better team on our home court.
They let us get away with fouls all over. No superstar calls for the Warriors in this one for sure. Meanwhile the W's guards got in foul trouble.
I'm not saying it was outright a David Stern-style WWE scripted game, but if they called half of the hand checks, we lose by 15. If their stars get the benefit of the doubt calls that stars usually get on top of that, we lose by 25+.
That said, I like the more physical game, with less quick trigger chucking, much better than the games where you can't play defense and the final score is 135-129 or something.
