We beat them and our shots didn't fall in for 2.25 quarters. Lol

38 free throws for the Celtics certainly helped!

So just to be clear, we're not tanking this season, even with GH out, right?

If Hayward was healthy, the Boston Celtics would win the 2018 NBA Championship.

Will win in 2019!

Holding Golden State to 88 points total
19, 21, 20 points in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th quarters respectively
40.7% FG%

That's championship level defense
We shot 33% from the field in the process tho.
that makes the win even more impressive. that doesn't happen very often. If horfords 3 falls in , we end the game 5 minutes earlier with garbage time

Warriors aren't known for driving to the basket.

That is exactly what I was going to type.  We won because we were aggressive taking the ball to the rim and had a crap load of free throws to offset the horrid shooting.

great amazing win.  if 13 in a row didn't mean much, you gotta think people start paying attention now.

Ladies and Gentlemen, honored guests, I give you the 2017 "Suck my ****" celtics. Complete with the worst shooter in history and advanced statistics darling, the 45-year old rookie, the LeBron turncoat, Mr. Consistency, and Jaylen "did you just see that" Brown.

They gotta be called Fire and Ice, cause Jaylen heats up quickly and plays with incredible passion, and Jayson is smooth as ice and seems to always play cool and under control....

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

We got a lot of love from the refs tonight.  Worth pointing that out.  38 FTs to 19.  24 fouls to 15.

But the job that we did on Steph and Klay - and even Durant, for stretches - was herculean.  You simply don't shut that team down like that.

This was supposed to end the streak.  Instead, we're at 14 and counting.  So proud of the Celtics tonight.
