He hit a huge clutch shot with the C's up by just 1 with 25 seconds left and then, 2 possessions later, found himself guarding Kemba Walker (again, up by only 1 point) and made him take a difficult shot without fouling.

He was rock solid. Glad to have him around.

That 3 point attempt on the offensive rebound with under a minute left was inexcusable and almost lost us the game.

But, then he hit a crazy turnaround 20 ft jumper with the shot clock running down and followed that up with the great D on Kemba and he totally was excused.

I am certainly happy to have him around. I think most of us knew what we were getting when he came here (a talented offensive player who might iso a bit too much and a gritty, versatile defensive player), but it is nice to see him actually perform. He will be a nice veteran presence for our team and he appears to enjoy playing for the Cs.

To be honest I'm glad he hit the clutch shot and defended Kemba that well...

But he almost threw the game... that was one of the most stupid mistakes for an experienced guy to ever make. Jack up an early 3 at 86-82 which he missed and led to a transition 3 for Charlotte... Gave them ultimately a chance to win the game.

I think its incredible that we even won the game without 3 stars, refs in favor of CHA, and unbelievebly stupid mistakes by Yabe & Morris.

In general Morris looks OK to me and he provides really good depth for this team. A solid NBA player who is going to help this team going forward. I love his defense... Sometimes he is reluctant to move the ball which he needs to solve. His ISO is both good and frustrating at times.

He alao made one of the stupidest plays of the game by taking that illadvised 3 with a fresh shotclock and less than a minute to play. That was an excuseable "w t f is he doing moment".

The defense on Wall to close out the game was perfect.  His versatility is going to be extremely valuable in helping us through the grind of an 82 game season.

I'm really looking forward to the end of his minutes restriction.  Morris is essentially matching his production in Detroit with 9 less MPG.  It's only a 4 game sample but is PER-36 numbers are 21.4 PPG and 7.7 RPG.

I see everyone is piling on Morris about him almost ruining the game last night.  It was frustrating for sure but he followed up with big plays when we needed them.  My glass half full opinion is that I was encouraged to see Morris move on immediately from the mistake.  I don't think we are going to see mental lapses from him very often.  If anything this will end up being a good coaching moment for the entire team.

To be fair, that 3 was wide open and he was 3/5 from range at that point. Ill advised, maybe, but teams work incredibly hard to get shots as open as that.

You can't defend him taking that shot. Running down the clock would've taken it down to somewhere in the 30's and with a 4 pt lead (more if we hit the shot after the set). You can't take that shot. Period.

I get it and you're probably right. It's probably the wrong call in that situation but making that shot would've basically put the game away and I can't help but think that the confidence to take that shot is somehow related to the confidence required to come back from an 18 point deficit without your 3 highest paid players.
