Not quite Kemba Walker or young CP3 handles but AWFULLY close...

CP3 would shake some folks so bad that I'd bite my tongue. He DESTROYED Tony Parker in one of those moves a few years ago...just nasty.

So, we're only starting to scratch the surface with Kyrie. A bright coach and a team suited to HIS talents is allowing him to showcase those talents.

I'm warming up to Kyrie more and more.

Kemba who? What are you guys watching. There is no one that comes close to Kyrie's handles and what he does with the ball in the closest of spaces.

My favorite moves are the completely unnecessary ones.  Those are definitelyyy the cutest.

Get over yourself.

It is incredibly annoying.

Don't read it.

No, he has the right to read it and call you on your hate. It is a joke to say dribbles are unnecessary because you have no idea is intent or what he is setting up for later.

He certainly does.  But complaining about my posts is wasted energy.  And they're leading to personal attacks, which are just going to get him banned.  So far I "need to get over myself," am "incredibly annoying," and even "sad."

I have a right to keep reporting each one.  And I have every right to hate the heck out of Kyrina Irving.

I don't know.  Other guys like... even Lillard... may be just as good overall basketball players as Kyrie.  Just so hard to gauge with Kyrie being in the perfect situation his entire career, and their skillsets being so similar.

Nothing like hating the best player on your favorite team.

Maybe I'll warm up some when he's clearly the best player.  To be honest, thus far... Horford has been more consistent,  Jaylen has carried the offense more frequently,  and Tatum looks like he has a higher ceiling as a two-way player and iso scorer.

Well just like I came to love Isaiah Thomas, (loved his game in SAC, but didn't particularly get why we picked him up,) I hope you'll do the same for Kyrie.

I think Kyrie is saying and doing all the right things as a leader. Horford has always never been afraid to voice his opinion, especially if it concerns matter that displeases him. So far, he's saying the same things about him, that he did vice versa to IT.

IT will always have a special place in my heart, when you take into consideration, the hell hole of tribulations he had to go through his tenure here in BOS. But while I'll never forget him, it is on to new things.

I trust Ainge's judgment, and he seems thoroughly convinced just like Brad Stevens, that Irving can be the best player.

Just like KI is benefiting from Horford's game, so did IT.

didnt you say that you wanted to like Irving? or that you were gonna try to give him the benefit of the doubt?

turns out that was a load of BS wasnt it?

Yeah, instead he is just going to continue to troll people who really enjoy Kyrie, because he is salty his boy IT just isn't as good, and Danny made a heck of a trade.

Kind of sad.

You used to jam the TP button on my posts.  Try to be more open-minded.  I'm not trolling any one.  I continue to give him his credit, while also expressing dissatisfaction with his unnecessary dribbling, ridiculous and childish PR activities, and decision to wear mittens following a professional athletic contest.

Danny overpaid.  Yes, the trade long-term will be good for the Celtics.  But he overpaid.  There's zero evidence to indicate that Kyrie is the better player.  I'm sorry that this is difficult for you.  We can keep going back and forth, though.  As long as you try to be a bit more open-minded.

I have literally never seen someone be so dead set on hating their favorite teams star player.

There is an abundance of evidence.

30 out of 30 GMs in this league would trade IT for Kyrie and be ecstatic.

How does that not show he is unequivocally better?

His resume absolutely blows Isaiah's away, and I love IT.

Kyrie is better.

Overpaying is not necessarily a bad thing.

If you need water to live, overpayment is just something to deal with.

If you need an actual superstar to win, overpayment is something you have to deal with.

The team that gets the best player, wins the trade in the NBA.

And lol at you reporting me for calling you out on an extremely obvious trolling.

Kyrie is the next great Celtic. You can hate the best player we have had on this team since Paul/KG if you want.

I am going to enjoy the ride.

For ME - Isaiah Thomas has set the bar.

As much as I love Kyrie, he has to lead this team into the NBA Finals (farther than what Isaiah did) before I can anoint him any further.

Isaiah led us to the ECF just last year.

If Kyrie can do THIS - either WITH GH or WITHOUT - then he gets my full love - handles included.

Dude.

How can you honestly have watched the games this season and said Jaylen has carried the offense more frequently? I honestly have a real hard time believing you honestly believe that.

Tatum might very well be a better player in the end.

He is 100% not a better player than Kyrie right now, and when talking about 'clearly the best player on the team', that kind of matters

7/10 for this one.

Agree with all your points.  I also think Horford is benefiting a ton from playing with Kyrie - maybe more than he did with IT (we shall see).  Dead serious on that.

I sort of somewhat agree...

I think the difference is that IT had a full year of building chemistry with his teammates, and instilling Celtic pride in our youngsters... WHICH is why our rookies especially JB, are tantalizingly destroying the competition :)

BUT! I believe based on how this year is turning out, we're definitely going to either end up in the semifinals, or end up in ECF once again.

I'm not convinced any team in the East is that much better than us, with or without GH.

I do understand where you're coming from. After we traded Pierce/KG, I was so heartbroken. I couldn't eat or sleep for a few days lol. My friends thought my ex-gf at the time broke it off with me, but they all knew deep down my Celtic pride was burning to death lol.

I thought things couldn't get any worse, but after Rondo got traded, I kept replaying all of his old passing highlights lol.

Then I fell in love with IT, and then he got traded!

I think I need to stop falling in love with players, and start hating them lol.

BUT! I believe based on how this year is turning out, we're definitely going to either end up in the semifinals, or end up in ECF once again.

I'm not convinced any team in the East is that much better than us, with or without GH.

Well, we are barely a week into November. It's still early but I'm definitely excited for this team.

If Kyrie can get us to even the ECF with the team as is he would be deserving of an MVP selection.

I'm hoping for HIS (and the team's) continued success.
