Loser Lonzo Wednesday will be streamed via Reddit at my house, so as not to reward ESPN’s marketing efforts.

Does anyone ever feel like ESPN is really overpromoting or hyping Lebron and the Lakers?

God, I'm sick of this Lonzo/Lavar crap. I hope Marcus and Terry tear this kid apart.

No doubt they overpromote the heck of them but when you have the tv rights to the NBA, you tend to promote the heck out of the league's biggest star and the league's historical "glamour" team.  Those tend to pull in the casual viewers.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
Hope Jayson Tatum brings in the heat and destroys Lonzo and the Lakers.

This is just nuts.

Tim Tebow 2.0 baby

ESPN's bias is a big part of the reason why I barely watch them anymore. It's a shame they alienate the true fans in favor of casuals.

The league is complicit too with the officiating, though it isn't as bad as it used to be.

The league and its partners have always promoted the biggest stars, they were promoting Rusell like crazy when the Lakers drafted him too.

Remember when they completely redid the national television schedule once the Celtics traded for KG?

Lakers always get a ton of national TV games and NBATV/ESPN/Turner always promote them like crazy.

this is a must win for us, I want Smart and Irving to tear Ball apart, then see how Lavar will whine

I want a 30 point beat down of this team, I also want Tatum to go off

It makes sense since Lonzo is a big draw already, but it seems like Kyrie is also a pretty big draw?

I hate the fact this game is on ESPN and my cable package doesn't carry that channel.  no other stations are carrying the game which sucks.

anyone know a good stream they've used for other games?

Yup and ESPN has promoted the heck out of him in the past and will in the future.

My guess is they have an interview or feature pieces on Lonzo that they're promoting to tie into the game.

Although this seems like favoritism to the Lakers, it probably benefits us and hurts Ball.

Ball has folded every time he has been confronted on the court. It could be the game that breaks him out of his funk, but more likely this will be a 3/17, 8 points, 6 assists, 7 rebounds type game.

You think Irving, Rozier, Smart, and Brown aren't gonna go at him all game, in our house?

Plus, with Horford's mobility, Lopez's three point shooting should be less of a factor. This also seems like a good "back to earth" regression to the mean game for Kuzma.
