Seems like there's been a hundred posts on this topic on this board, and I have definitely fought for either guy.

But at this point, this is all i have.

Tatum.  He's already better than Brown and is much more skilled.

Eh, disagree entirely, but I would like to hear why you think that. Jaylen Brown has come far, when you compare how irratic his ball handling was, compared to now? Light years ahead in differences.

Mostly based on skillset.  Jaylen's been very aggressive, and has had some good (and some bad) games.  Jayson is shooting better, rebounding better, had has fewer ups and downs, and generally contributed more when not scoring.

I am really worried about browns free throws, but brown is a better all around player, while tatum has a much more refined offensive game

Bumping this cause imo Tatum has taken a step backwards this season whereas Brown has turned the corner after a rough start in November-December.

Is it just me or do you guys start liking Brown's game more than Tatum's?

Tatum's lack of quickness is really starting to show to me. I dont think he'll make that jump to all-star level until he can play the 4 consistently

I always like Brown more than Tatum. Tatum is looking more soft as time went on. Brown have shown to have mental toughness at times.

Brown, no question.

Tatum has regressed.

Yeah, I’ve come around to team Brown. Tatum playing team-worst defence and not making up for it on offence frustrates me endlessly.

Would rather trade Tatum for AD than Brown at this stage. I reckon Brown can fit alongside Kyrie & AD better, and he plays good defence, let alone defence at all

I like Brown more, but I think Tatum will probably be the better player...after he is traded. Right now, he knows he's the main piece in an AD deal. He was playing great earlier in the year, but has seemingly fallen off a cliff lately. Maybe he'll be better in the playoffs, but his demeanor is terrible right now. Brown, on the other hand, has been much more engaged and focused and I see him as a great fit for this team moving forward.

I love Brown, probably more than most people. I was preaching small sample size during those first twenty games when Brown struggled. But in the interest of being consistent I'll say we probably shouldn't judge Tatum too harshly based off his worst stretch of professional basketball, just like we probably shouldn't have judged Brown too harshly for his worst stretch of basketball to start the season. I really like Brown, the answer is probably still Tatum is for no other reason he's more than a year younger. But I think its close. Also, can these guys have a good game at the same time? Brown starts out bad, gets better. Tatum starts out great, takes a nosedive. Have these guys each scored 18+ the same game at any point this season?

I would be fine with moving Tatum and keeping brown, a 3+D guy who can also drive hard to rim the rim in the in the half court and be dynamic in transition would fit real well with Anthony Davis.
