I was just flipping around on the TV and saw just tail end of an interview with him on NBC news. I think they said “see the full interview tomorrow on the Today show.” Now I’m not 100% sure about that because as I said it was just the end of it. But just to be sure I've set it up to record that show.

Thanks Gordon for sharing, that was an excellent piece.  I got a little choked up as well.  Good to see he's got all the support he needs, both from his family and the team.

Only downside is that he says he's definitely out for the season.

Eh, the way he said it I kind of wonder if he wasn't really meaning what he was actually saying. From all reports that have come out, it was consistent in all of them that there was no ligament damage. That's why they were so confident about his recovery.

But who knows with these things.

This is the first time I'm hearing about ligament damage. Interesting. I Doubt it was too serious as no one has mentioned it until Gordon now, maybe it was just small tears similar to sprains

When he said he can't help them this year did he mean 2017 or the basketball year? That wasn't clear. Was also skimming at work so may have missed something...

" Cavaliers team physician Dr. James Rosneck relocated his dislocated ankle on the court"

Where was our doctor? Or was he just the one they wanted to do it

They know I will not be back on the court at all this season, but they have been making sure I have every resource I need, and are making me feel like I am a part of the team.

So, the entire season.

I think that’s right. “Torn” can mean everything from a simple sprain, to a severed ligament.

It would be essentially impossible to suffer this injury without some damage to the ligaments.
