He's averaging 33.8 minutes versus 17.2 last season.  The fewest minutes he's played this season is 28.  Looks like last season he only played 28+ minutes in 6 or 7 games.

Jaylen might be my favorite Celtic given his potential on both sides of the ball, his work ethic, his raw athletic ability and his possible highest ceiling as a player on the Celtics. 21 years old and averaging possibly 18+ per game by year's end with 6+ rebounds and excellent defense is really special. Kid is amazing.

Then again, Tatum might be even better when he is 21.

Yeah but thats a result of his increased play and production aswell as the cause.

He's only been able to be given more minutes because his defense has justified it. He's also making a lot of those bunny layups he used to miss.
