Don't disrespect the old trainers like that, they helped all the willing guys do just what they needed. Helped KO get much stronger throughout his career. The fact is, KO was injured the season before so he couldn't work like he did this offseason (he was hurt most offseasons). Smart was a young guy who got by on talent/hustle. This offseason he put in the work and changed his diet because of his physical pain and so he can get better to make a fat check. On Sully, his family/Celts did an intervention, he had injuries because of the weight, worked with a guy known to help addicts, Celts let him walk/new team traded him as scrap/2nd team waived him but he still couldn't pull himself together. He couldn't find a team willing to take a flyer, especially when money was being given out the ***, the guy is nearly a lost cause, but he's just young enough that you never know! As good as he was and could have become the dude is in China!
Sorry, the issues for either guy wasn't on the trainers, the players have to want the help and be willing to work (KO was injured)!
I'm glad Smart grew up and figured it out for w/e reasons and it's good to see KO is healthy enough so he could work on himself. Sully...
