If Paul Pierce is "The Truth", then Jayson Tatum is "The Facts".

Haven't figured out Jaylen Brown yet...but I like JT's nickname.

Need Shaq to come up for one for Tatum

Tatum only listed with 6'11-7 wingspan...but he looks longgg. Especially with his wide shoulders

What about "condor"

That's Josh Smith's nickname.  Can't we just call him Jayson Tatum?  Maybe because I'm getting a little older but I find most of the nicknames that people use on here kind of childish, and half of the time I have no idea who is being talked about until I do some thinking.

Yes, Jayson Tatum is distinguished enough, for now.
It not like he is John Williams (Hot rod) or Craig Smith (Rhino) and he needs a nickname like blood so people can remember him. He was the 3rd pick, 3rd-5th Roy candidate also plays on a winning team.

Unless it's something spontaneous (like "the Truth"), nicknames are stupid and contrived and don't catch on.

Plus Tatum is a pretty unique NBA name.  I can't think of another Tatum.  John Williams almost needed a nickname because there were two players with the exact same name.  I liked Hot Plate Williams' nickname as a contrast to Hot Rod's.

I think we should call him Tater, if only because I find the idea of a 35-year-old Tatum with a full career under his belt still being called "Tater" hilarious.

I continue to feel that something like Slice, Slither, Serpent, or Sidewinder would be most appropriate.

Tatum is just so lanky and yet coordinated / smooth in his movements.  Unexpectedly polished for a guy his age.  The nickname needs to speak to that.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.
