Here comes Debbie Downer to remind everyone that this was the KNICKS, a team that does not believe in playing defense.  That said, I like that J&J are hitting open shots and taking it strong to the cup.  Great for their confidence.

Im not sure whats more impressive so far this season, Jaylens improvement or Jayson tatums ability to be NBA ready.

I think it might be Jaylens improvement. he looks like a totally different player. he seems able to get to the rim whenever he wants, has MUCH better handle and seems to have improved his 3 point shot. He also seems confident this year, ready to take it to the rim any time he has the ball...I dont think anyone expected him to be averaging 18.8ppg to this point.

Tatum is equally impressive. We already knew he had NBA ready offense. the question was how he would fair vs. NBA talent. and he seems to be doing really well...by the playoffs he should be really deadly. And if we get Hayward back by then....watch out.

Agreed.  While it's been nice.  It's a long season and there is still room for growth.  Perspective.

That isn't true.  Took me about a minute to confirm that Walker and Billups were both 21 on November 14, 1997.  Both scored 22 points against the Raptors that day.

After Billups was traded, Mercer started scoring more and he and Walker, both 21, also had a some 20 point games together.

March 25 and 27 for example.  April 5 and April 14 also.

I only looked at 1 season and found 6 examples.  Not sure where Elias is getting its information from.
