His agent BJ Armstrong pretty much forced him into this situation and now he looks like he realizes what situation he's in. He should've refused to work out for Phoenix if his agent knew what he was doing. I think Danny would've still taken Tatum but it's a bad look for Jackson and his management.

I wouldn't willingly subject myself to watching a Suns game when they aren't playing the Celtics, so I can't comment on his attitude, but his stats don't say disinterested to me.  I mean he is shooting 46% from three, getting 1.7 steals, and getting to the line nearly 6 times a game.  He is shooting horrible from 2PT and FT though.  Despite that he is still scoring just under 12 points a game.  If he gets up to a reasonable 2PT and FT % he would up his scoring to well over 15, which isn't bad for a rookie.
just like the awful 2pt% is likely an anomoky his 3pt% is equally unsustainable. Doesnt make sense to me to scale one number up without touching the other.
Sure but he was a 38% 3pt shooter in college so I wouldn't expect him to fall much. Let's say 1 less 3 but 2 more 2's and 1 more FT
the 38 number from college was never likely to be sustainable.

No one shoots 38% from deep but then hovers around 50% from the free throw line.

His college numbers are a lot bigger sample size then his pro numbers though.

It is a very small sample size but he looks like he doesn't want to be there. He's playing 28 minutes a game and averaging 2 rebounds and .8 assists

Sure, but he is also getting to the line 4.8 times a game and getting 1.8 steals a game.  You can't just point out the negative "aggression" stats, without pointing out the positive "aggression" stats.  Booker and Warren aren't shooting well either, so who is to say if they don't shoot better he doesn't have more assists as his USG is only 20.3.

In Ainge we trust! Tatum, versus Fultz, versus Jackson is going to be fun to watch over the next few years

He should create a list of 5 teams he would like to play for and then demand a trade.

That's a good point. I wasn't trying to exclude stats, I just listed two that I thought were amazing low. The main thing is his defensive energy is really bad. He's getting lit up like a Christmas tree.

He's in one of the worst imaginable situations for a rookie

He avoided working out for Cs because he and his agent wanted that situation. Enjoy it!!

We chose Jayson. Jackson "fell" to the Suns. Huge difference.

Avoiding DA pretty much forced the Celtics to not draft him

That was his preferred destination and Ryan McDonough admitted manipulating the situation. McDonough still probably has hurt feelings for The IT fleecing...
