The 76ers play hard.  Their recent games have had a playoff feel.  I get a lot of people don't like them here, but they are fun to watch.

Yeah, Embiid has been killing it, and adding Belinelli and Ilyasova helps give them a vet presence and much needed shooting. With those two and Reddick, they can really spread the floor for Embiid and Simmons.

Saric is a very nice complement to Embiid and Simmons as well.

Yep, I think they'll be a tough out.  Embiid is a competitive guy, seems to play every game with a purpose.

Did you guys just skip their game yesterday? They have some really fun players but they lead the league in turnovers and that is not a recipe for playoff success. I would much rather face them than a lot of these other teams in the playoffs m
Edit: as I was typing this they fouled Wade on a 3 point attempt to give him a chance to tie the game. They are incredibly young. Except for that one amazing thunder team with 3 future mvps, young teams struggle in the playoffs...

Yeah, I watch most b/c 3 are on my fantasy team.  They are young, and make mistakes.  Simmons forces passes at times, and when Embiid gets frustrated, he's prone to poor shots.  But, I said they're fun to watch and will be a tough out b/c of talent and effort.

Sixers up by 10 late in the 3rd against the Cavs. Belinelli has been great for them so far, and Ersan will be too once he settles in.

Meanwhile, the new Cavs players don't look so hot anymore. Nobody besides Lebron has double digits in points heading towards the 4th quarter.

Is it me or Embiid is just lazy in posting up?

Embiid seems pretty lazy in general with his shot selection. I mean, he is still a very good player, but it seems he could be so much better.

Cleveland now within 4 - I really hope the Sixers can get things working again and win this. For some reason, Amir Johnson is now the only player who can score (barely) for Philly.

Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid are the real deal. If Lebron leaves CLE, he should seriously consider PHI. Give them two shooters and that team is lethal.
The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing.

Isaiah with his best game of the season, 29/6/4 and +13 in 29 mins, and against a decent team too.

Before tonight, none of his 6 highest scoring games this year (where he had between 19-24 points) had him as a positive when he was on the court.

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

That's a great game!  I'm happy for him. Please add this to the All Positive IT Thread?   :)

Man, I would LOVE to see a Cavs vs Sixers playoff series. I think the Sixers can take them down.

PHI is a good team. Embiid/Simmons PNR and even Embiid post-ups will be mismatches. Simmons beats his guy then kicks out to Saric/Reddick. I could see them doing some damage in the playoffs this year.

There's just something about Miami that brings the best out of IT. I don't remember the Celtics ever losing to the Heat when Isaiah was on the team.

Great finish for the Sixers. They almost gave up the lead twice there at the end, but showed real focus on their shots and on D. I would love nothing more than for CLE to fall to 4th (if we get the 2nd seed); if we're lucky, PHI or MIL could slip into the 5th spot and really give them a fight before playing TOR.

Very good win.  Right after you posted, Saric dunked on a breakaway with the game out of hand and Clarkson threw the ball off his back.  A little scuffle ensued with LBJ getting really heated.  He made amends at the end., though.

I said the same above.  They could be dangerous, and they're fun to watch.

Dang, the Cavs suddenly falling apart after smoking the Celtics and OKC Thunder before the All-Star break. Time for LeBron to start calling out his team again!

Definitely exaggerated last time when I said they'd outlast the Warriors in a 7-game series loooool
