Throughout these negotiations, there were those in LeBron James’ camp who hoped maybe the Cavs would turn back from this trade with Boston, hang on to Kyrie Irving and bring him to training camp to give the team’s two best players a chance to work out any differences.

I saw this quote in article from the Athleitc further confirming what KOC pointed out. Sorry LeBron....not  ;D ;D ;D

wouldnt surprise me though. if IT4 misses most of the season or is out for the season you have the ghost of derrick rose as your starting point guard...and his knees are made of glass

lequeen wanted win now players and doesn't care about a top lotto pick coming in the following year when he leaves town. How selfish, wanted  to truley leave cleveland with no rebuilding pieces

This was the hold up with the trade lue and laqueen wanted win now players whilst gilbert wanted to focus on future assests as he knows lequeen is leaving. This why gilbert was holding evertything up in order the appease lequeen.

"There were those in his camp"...

It's hard to attribute much to that statement.

This report is a gentle euphemism for "It was all LeBron, he flipped his **** over the hip and made ultimatums to Gilbert and Altman."

It's hard to attribute much to that statement.

Especially when his "camp" is literally hundreds of people ranging from friends to plants in the media.

yep, that is why I said this was click bait nonsense.  I mean he didn't even put a direct quote in his article.
