Can we trade IT, Crowder and Zizic for Malcolm Brogdon, Khris Middleton, Thon Maker and keep the Nets pick?

I'm not sure who comes out of this looking worse, The Cavs or Adrian Wojnarowski...

I haven't seen any denials by either team of Woj's reports.

Cavs come out looking worse unless they kill the deal. Getting face-saving scraps at best from Ainge to keep Dan Gilbert from doing something stupid looks like the Cavs weren't negotiating in good faith when they asked for more. The Cavs might eek out a bit more, but everyone will look at them sideways going forward. The NBA is a closed ecosystem, which is why Hinkie got demoted and quit after p---ing off a bunch of people outside his own organization.

I haven't seen anyone backing up Wojo on these reports. This is a trade Wojo missed in the 1st place but seems to be in the center of. I think someone in the Cavs organization is feeding him stuff for Cleveland to use as leverage against Boston.

The Cavs are ruining any good faith that they have in the league by dragging their feet on a trade that they are going to do.

It's pretty clear Cleveland is still trying to negotiate via Woj a deal they already agreed to.

woj: cleveland wants tatum or brown
celtics: *silence
woj: cleveland wants a late first or second
celtics: *silence
woj: deadline on cavs/celtics deal is approaching. cavs just want a hug
celtics: you done?

Maybe Wojo should give the CAVS a second round pick and a hug!  ;D

I'll say it goes through with a minor tweak, but I wouldn't be shocked to see it go through as is.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

This trade has some serious constipation!

The more this drags on, the more I think this trade just goes through as it is, or with a Top-55 protected 2nd rounder.

But it still seems like utter BS if we had to go through all this practically the entire week just for CLE to gain some heavily-protected 2nd rounder...  >:(

It's total Bull. This trade should be done by now. Are the CAVS creating bad blood with IT by making him wait and putting out that he's damaged goods? I think so. It's not a good look for any front office.

Here's what I hope happens to Cleveland in the coming year:

(1) The Browns go 0-16
(2) Indians lose the ALDS to no other than the Red Sox  8) (Revenge Baby!)
(3) Cavaliers lose in ECF to Boston OR lose in Finals again BADLY to Golden State
(4) 2018 Brooklyn Pick lands OUTSIDE Top-5 (near #10)
(5) Lebron AND Isaiah leave Cleveland after next season
(6) Crowder DEMANDS a trade out of Cleveland. So does Kevin Love

 ;D

Actually, the trade is done, but either team can void the deal if the physicals reveal something unexpected. That's what the Cavs are hanging their hat on--probably to squeeze out another draft pick.

Thomas kinda killed the Cavs extortion theme .   He repeated what Danny told them .

athey are just trying to be cute ,   "Jerks ". at this point .  Thomas told them how he feels.

The trade is still the same value .  Cavs get biggest haul possible , pick for latter and Thomas plays this year.    Thomas speaks the truth , then Cavs win big .....as opposed to their other options .

They are getting nothing good as the Nets pick .   Irving doesn't want to play on Sun, they are way off from contending .   Their best players are super green  .

i'd threatened already to pull Zizic out of the trade if they don't sign soon.

They ll get a PG deal and crummy 1 st rounder for Irving
