Per @ChrisMannixYS on @CSNNE, #Celtics will draw line in sand. May part with a 2nd Rd pick to complete #Cavs deal. No firsts/Brown/Tatum.

stick to your guns DA!
LET'S GO CELTICS!

OK.

Cavs say Tatum.

Celts say 2nd rounder.

I think they settle on LAC or MEM 1st.

I can only hope there's some legitimacy to that statement.  As much as I (or most people here) would gladly tell Cleveland to go pound sand, I'm more than a tad worried that Danny would capitulate to Cleveland's demands for either one of our top prospects or another first rounder.

It was a lopsided trade if IT was healthy -- no need for the Brooklyn pick.  only sensible reason to include the pick was to cover any of IT's health issues and considering the extremely high value of that pick it would make up for a LOT of health issues.

I'd offer to maybe cover the cost of a good handful of rehab and offer conditional 2nd round pick.

And that's it

The Cavs are nuts. Kyrie waived his $5M Trade Kicker so that tells you how much he wants out.

Let them go to the Suns and get Brons' buddy Bledose. That will do nothing for them.

Now I know why Gilbert is paying 3 coaches and fired 2 GMs. He's a clown.

Cavs board are all talking like Tatum or brown is. Done deal.  Acting like they have Boston over a barrel because other teams like Detroit are waiting in the wings to get kyrie.  I can't stand Cavs fans and will definitely visit their boards when LBJ leaves for nothing and they recind the trade nd get less then Indy did for george

I would think the Cavs have something else cooking. Maybe a new offer. Obviously asking for Tatum or Brown if true, is an over reach. If I we're Danny I'd counter with something I feel is fair for both teams, if that doesn't work...tell them to go fxxk themselves.

The worse part of all this is we'll be taking back 2 very bitter players.

Crowder will have his feelings destroyed, and not be able to deal with it, judging by how he acted last year when Hayward got an ovation in the Garden. And the NBA will know IT is damaged goods.
Putting us at a disadvantage when trying to deal both or either of them.

this sucks.

Don't worry. Let them lose another lopsided Finals and scream 3-6 in their faces and what not.

There is nothing Detroit can give them and still try to remain a contender.

I would just feel better if we had a time table on IT in the event he has to return to Boston. Yes he will sulk and Crowder will Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. and complain but they have to make it work. IT has no value. Crowder would fetch a middling player

OK.

Cavs say Tatum.

Celts say 2nd rounder.

I think they settle on LAC or MEM 1st.

Hopefully it's the LAC pick or a lottery-protected Celtics pick rather than that Memphis pick.

they're asking for the moon, so another first round pick wont look so bad when the cavs "settle" for that. I say f off to the whole deal.

HAHAHAHAAHA!

Some fool on youtube that keeps popping up in my feed said the Cavs are now perusing to get Hayward in the deal.

IT/Hayward/Croder/Zizc and the Nets pick for Irving......

For one, can't trade Hayward yet, and the Cavs would have to send Love out too. I'm not going to pretend to be a cap guru, but come on!

Thats kind of misleading. If you read the whole thing Woj says that is unlikely and most likely will be looking for a 1st round pick. IMO its all posturing right now.

C's will say 2nd rounder, cavs will ask for tatum/brown and will settle on a protected 1st rounder.

Indefinitely protected picks 1 thru 29. I'd do that
